Re: Boatversations
Aden sits in the shower of petals glaring daggers at Susan. "No. Fucking. Way." He growls out. "She's far to much of a stuck up bitch to be with me and besides there's no way in hell I'm going to be tied down to one person!"

"Methinks the lady doth protest too muuuuuuch!" Susan replies in a singsong voice laughter reducing to quiet giggles.

"Me thinks the lady needs to shut her mouth!" Aden glares. "I rather be with muscles (Azazel) than that Bitch!"

Re: Boatversations
"That doesn't seem like a fair comparison, Muscles is a very appealing lady." Susan grins and winks at Azazel.
"Whose turn is it for a story now? Yours again?" She smirks.

Azazel barks out a laugh at this. "I am so flattered," she replies sarcastically.

"I will not be speaking again as I regret my last story," Aden mumbles. "It's your turn, Honey!"
"And Muscles, I'm sure you are." He gives her a small glare.

A grin stretches across Azazel's face at Aden's glare and she laughs again. "Susan, I seem to have offended your guest."

"Oh dear, and you don't seem to feel the least bit guilty about it either."
Susan grins at Azazel again, clearly amused.
"What sort of story would you like now, Sweet Cheeks?"

Faye walks in with a huge bowl of salad and sits down cross legged next to Azazel.
"Fruit salad?" She offered with a grin.

Re: Boatversations
"An embarrassing story?" Susan frowns trying to bring one to mind.
"Oh! There was the first time I tried to 'flirt'." Shaking her head at the memory she continues.
"I was young, 17 or 18 maybe. I had read that mild flirtation could help things go your way when trying to close a business deal. Sure, I'd never flirted with anyone, and I never really liked people. Yet, I read several books on the subject and I was incredibly confident.
So, the time comes for me to actually negotiate for something, and me with my books and my little business suit headed into that meeting with all the confidence in the world. If only I had realized there are things you can only learn from experience.
I arrive at that meeting and I hit every damned point on the handy dandy Flirtation Chart that I'd drawn up. (I know, shut up.)
However, I didn't account for two things. First, my delivery was totally off, I didn't have any idea what portions of the stuff I was saying was supposed to be 'alluring'. Second, the guy I was attempting to flirt with wasn't into women.... we did not sign that contract."
Groaning at the memory, Susan hides her face in her hands as even her ears turn red.

Laughing Aden collapses onto the bed. His bad mood was gone and he didn't even mind that the High Elf had joined them. "Somethings you just can't learn in books."

"I know that now!" Susan replies blush darkening.
"I'm sure even You had a time when you weren't spectacularly skilled at flirting."
Turning to Faye with a small smile, she grabs a piece of fruit and sticks it in her drink

"Hey, I'm not exactly hideous." Susan sulks slightly.
"Why don't you tell us about a time your attempts at flirting went horribly wrong?"

"Unfortunately for you Honey, the times I failed I was to wasted to remember so I have no story to share," Aden says with a mock little bow.

"I think most if not all the stories I have been telling are embarrassing ones," Aden says, watching Faye carefully. "Did you have a bit more specific base you want?"

"What about a theft attempt gone sour?" She looks at Faye then back at Aden.
"Is everything... okay?"

Re: Boatversations
She smiles at the two and picks up a slice of honey dew and puts it into her mouth. Moving it to one cheek and keep it there like a hamster. She slowly starts to chew it as she listen to the others speak.

Re: Boatversations
"Besides the ones that Val screwed me over and not in a good way," Aden says. "How about my very first heist? I don't think it's a very interesting story, though."
"Anyway, it started when I was but a teen. I don't think I was older than 15, anyway it was me and this kid that grew up in my town. We had become desperate enough to try and break in this rich guys home in the next town over. He was a paranoid man that hired more men than he possibly needed."
"Like I said earlier we were desperate, I needed money for food and he need money to get his sister some medicine. Just your typical sad story, nothing spectacular. Because we were inexperienced we didn't really have a plan and just tried to sneak in the back because it just seemed like the smart thing to do, it obviously is the stupidest move to do."
Aden grows silent as he looks off to the side and seems hesitant to continue. "...long story short we didn't make it very far...the kid didn't make it."
"Wow, that really killed the mood."

Re: Boatversations
Faye frowned at the story.
"How unfortunate. Humans are such greedy people, they should be sharing their wealth and helping those who are less fortunate." She angrily toss a berry into her mouth and chomps it.

Re: Boatversations
Susan leans over and gently pats Aden's shoulder favoring him with a half smile.
"Hey, don't worry about it. It is... nice... that you would share such a personal story. I cannot imagine how awful that must have been."
She frowns slightly.
"I... I don't know what to do now, though. Is this something that requires a hug? More discussion? Would you like to move on to a different subject?"
