    In the split second chance he had, Xhiero manages to grab a fine-leather bag before he and Azazel misty step their way back up the stairs to safety! A crash is heard behind them, as the ceiling comes down. Dust billows up the stairs, and even a few rocks above them come crashing down. Finally.. everything calms down.

    Acererak, the Demi-Lich, creator of the Tomb of Horrors, has been slain!

    Klumn is a bit spooked by all the rumbling.

    "I.. not quite done yet, still have a bit. What the bloody hell was that though?"

    The rumbling gets worse. It isn't just the crypt.. the whole tomb of horrors is beginning to collapse!

    Klumn grabs his belongings in a hurry. "Wait, Acererak? The lich Acererak was down there? The goal of the entire dungeon was down there?"

    The walls are also crumbling, though, the particular wall where the secret door rests appears to be pristine.

    A huge chunk of ceiling flagstone lands right at Susan's feet, sending up a large cloud of dust and debris, obscuring her vision a little, and shaking the ground. It nearly crushed her!

    Klumn takes a step back. "The.. previous hallway doesn't appear to be shaking much.. I ... will go finish preparing back in there.."

    With that, the gnome leaves for the previous hallway.
