"Well in my experience mothers tend to drop you in pits or fill the room with noxious gas. Although, I assume that is a bit atypical." Susan pauses and chuckles raising an eyebrow. "As far as the pinching and slapping go, I've heard that some people have to pay for that sort of thing."

Sloan stared at Talia. His mouth seem to open but close constantly. He ruffled his hair trying to think of something that wouldn't scare the poor woman.

Sloan nodded quietly to Talia.
"My master sent me to retrieve it for him. I spent weeks searching for it. Finally I stumbled upon a temple ruin and deep within it was the mirror. It wasn't an easy task. I returned to it to my master. The last I ever saw of the mirror was on the stage of an auction house."
