"Good, I don't want you stripping for anyone else." Setting her bowl down, she grabs Val's arm with a grin.

"Any idea where Mr. Tall Dark and Grumpy is hiding out?"

"That is one attractive guest." Rennyr grins. "But since you're unattached, if you ever wanna join the Inch Tall club lemme know."

Waggling her eyebrows suggestively, she pokes her straw into her drink and takes a long sip.

"As for why I'm here, I had snuck into that rich girl's bag. I thought I'd blackmail her for cash, but once I realized she throws fireballs when annoyed I thought the better of it."

"To make Kain smile, remains a mystery to me." Damian shook his head.

"You may have better luck then me." He reached out for a snack as he stared between Vasani and Kain.

"Why didn't you invite the Cap over? Thought you two were...getting along."

"How should I know. Probably on deck where we last found him?" Val headed out of of the kitchen and back onto the deck to look for Troy.

"I don't think I would quality since I am...many inches tall." Sloan took a sip form his drink and studied the pixie.

"Why would a pixie like you need cash? Where would you store that money on such a small body."

"He has that pixie guest of his." Vasani shrugs. "I grew up next to the Untamed Wilds, I've had enough run-ins with fey creatures. He can find me again if he wants to."

After a bit of hunting, Val spots Troy sitting behind a desk in the captain's cabin.

"I guess we can tell who really does the work around here."

"Cash is king, I always need cash. The rest of my gang usually carries it for me, but I can temporarily shrink things when they aren't around... I can shrink people too."

"Uh, things like faeries, demons, pixies." Vasani rubs the back of her neck. "I think that's the second time someone's mentioned 'another world'. Where exactly are you guys from?"

Troy looks up from his paperwork to look at Susan and Val. "You've met Vasani. Is it surprising at all that she doesn't do the paperwork?"

He stand up, slightly stooped over to avoid hitting his head on the ceiling. "It's a nice change to not have to be the one to cook for a change."

Kain opened his mouth but closed it. He looked over at Damian for help.

"We both came from a world where magic doesn't exist. You know...people shooting fireballs from their hands and such. Instead everything thrives on technology and science. Oh yeah, the only race that exist are humans." Damian took a drink before continuing.

"So scientist begin to experiment on humans in hopes of creating a superior race. Ya-da ya-da." He rolled his eyes.

"But things don't always go according to their plans. Instead of helping humanity, they destroy it."

"Why do pirates even fill out paperwork?"

Vasani frowns. "That's terrible. How did you guys get here then?"

"Some things are easier to deal with if you go by the books." Troy leads them out of the captain's cabin and stretches. "Then there's the research for finding potential targets, common shipping routes, plotting out our stops, handling our inventory and supplies."

He waves his hand. "It's a lot of boring work. Not exactly Vasani's thing."

Vasani laughs and mimics his hand gestures. "Well, here's to science then for getting you lot here." She taps her glass against each of theirs.

"Some operate that way, but it's a lot of hit and miss. This way is more work, but gets more loot."

Troy heads down to the kitchen, ducking to get through the door. "So, what did you make?"

Rennyr frowns, but snaps her fingers and increases in size.

"Being this large is so unweildy, you should have just let me shrink you." She notes as a wing knocks over several bottles of booze.

"Don't treat me like the captain." Kain growled and pushed Vasani away from him. He scoots his seat closer to the table so she couldn't sit on his lap again.

Damian laugh at Kain's display.

"I don't think every man's mind is on sex and Kain is a good example of that."

"I don't mince words and you asked." Troy shrugged. "It generally doesn't come to that. Vasani isn't overly stubborn."

"Unless it's to go get our damn ship permits," he growls.

"It's more effective when we're out at sea. If we're docked she can just go find it somewhere else."

"But it usually doesn't come to that." Troy finishes off his soup and looks at Susan sternly. "The question is... why does he have to work so hard at getting you to eat?"

Vasani chuckles weakly. "I guess our own experiences put our views somewhat at odds. But I'll keep my hands to myself."

Giving Kain a small smile, she pushes a platter of food towards him. "Well, eat up then. And you're welcome aboard my ship anytime for a safe place to sleep. Both of you."

"Though I suppose you don't know me well enough to consider this safe."
