Hearing the commotion downstairs, Xhiero stepped out from his room and joined his companions downstairs. He raised an eyebrow at Leo who seems to be choking on a sweet roll. That sounds like a nice breakfast. Xhiero poured a cup of tea on his way over and handed it to Leo.
He joins Darius and Susan at the table.
"Susan, perhaps you should leave Leo alone. Please excuse our friend. He's a bit shy which explains his behavior." Xhiero tries to divert the conversation back to the stone to keep Darius' attention away from Leo.
"At the moment, our only solution to getting the necklace off is to visit this abandoned shrine? Who is the god they use to worship, do you know?"

It was though that she watched over these lands, especially the farmlands and granted them bountiful and easy springs. Xhiero cringed on the inside at the thought of fertility and life. After hearing about how the necklace could be potentially evil it was hard to believe that it related to this goddess. He studied Darius expression to see if the man was speaking the truth.

Darius seems to be telling the truth, Xhiero can't quite tell. He does look a bit hungry though.

His waiter and bar tending skills tells him Darius is hungry. He waved Zemi over to order breakfast.
"Just toast for me this morning please." He smiled at Zemi, hoping she wouldn't throw a large cake at him again. Xhiero waited for the others to order.

Zemi hustles over and brings Xhiero a pile of toast and sets a basket of sweet rolls at the center of the table. Darius nods his thanks to her with a smile and grabs one.
He looks at the pair. "I'll be ready to set off whenever you and your party are. Let's hope this will be a quick trip."

"I wouldn't hold your breath on the quick trip thing. They never are, there is always some complication. However, I'm ready to go now, although, we may need to collect the rest of our party."

Xhiero finished his breakfast and joins Leo as he came down the stairs. He looked at the side cart and raised an eyebrow. Dullahan won't fit in that... Xhiero politely decline the ride and walked over to his horse. Fixing the saddle as he waits for Susan and Darius to come out.

Darius follows Susan outside to the rest of your motley group. He walks up to Leo and pulls out a map, trailing his finger along a path ending at a mountain not too far off. "This is where we are headed." Wearily he looks over Leo's cart, but ultimately climbs aboard.
Leo's bike sputters along the street, leading your party out of the city's gate and into the open farmlands surrounding the city proper. There is a sea of crop fields spattered with farm houses for a good few miles inland. You see quite a few people working their fields, some taking the time to wave or greet you as you pass.
An hour or so later, the land becomes more wild. Fields of grass sprawl out on both sides of you, sprinkled with wild flowers. On one side the fields stretch out to the nearby bay; on the other is a forest with a lone mountain standing tall above it. Your destination.
By the time your party reaches the edge of the forest, night has fallen. Would you like to make camp or carry on?
