The Beginning of Black Rose

Hero's history....

Long ago in another dimension, there was a world where only dark and light dragons exist. There was not a day that war did not devastate the land. The earth suffered from these wars and begun to shatter. In the realm of the light dragon, a prince was born. His kind, loving mother named him "Hero" in hopes that he would rise up to be their hope. He was raised to become a proper prince both in intellectual and war tactics. Hero eventually had a younger sister, whom he tries to protect and offer her a carefree life.

One day, Hero was kidnapped and taken hostage by the dark dragons. They cursed him to become one of them. Eventually he escaped but was shunned at home for having the appearance and abilities of their enemies.

Finally the earth could not bear the conflict and begun to crumble. Destroying every life form that walked upon it. Hero's mother sacrificed herself to open a portal to transport her children to safety. Along the way Hero was separated from his sister, Yua. He fell from the skies and landed on a lush green earth. A mysterious girl approached him and took him home with her.

Not too long after the Black Rose Kingdom was established a princess was born. The now king and queen of Black Rose named her Cecilia Renata Yumisaki. The kingdom celebrated her birth for she was not only the king and queen's child but also the kingdom's. She laughed and she cried however she did not speak. Healers examined her however they did not find any cause for her silence. Although she did not speak she learned magic at a fast rate. She even read advanced books for her age. The people in the kingdom continued to shower her with affection for she was a cheerful and curious child. She was also able to communicate with others through her body language and actions. After a while she began to speak, but very rarely and a limited amount of words. She could say the names of people and one word spells, however even those were rarely heard. 'Mommy' and 'daddy' were the two words that she used the most. It wasn't that she could not speak it appeared that she had no desire to speak other than to call out to her parents with affection or need.

Upon stopping in the kitchen. His eyes widen at all the shiny utensils. Not knowing what any of them were he reached out to touch the metal of a pan. There were strange bottles with dirt inside. Her was able to grab one from the table top and shook it. A cloud of dust emerged causing him to sneeze. The boy quickly put the bottle back but continued to sneeze for a few more minutes. That wasn't fun.


Faint footsteps were heard from down the hall. A shadow towered of them with their hands at their waist. "What are you two kids doing this late at night. Especially you, princess."

Xhiero watched Craze do hand gestures to the adult. He turned back to the adult when he looked down at them. "We are hungry, sir. May we please have an elk?"

The chef started at the children and laughed at the strange way, Hero talked. "You must be really hungry, little boy." He picked each one up and sat them on a high stool. The chef quickly went to work at baking a peach cobbler and handed each child a slice. The steam warmed their faces as they leaned forward to smell the aroma. "Eat up and head to head afterwards."

Confused at the silverware the chef had passed to each one. Xhiero ignored it and prod at the pie with his finger. It burned. He glanced over at the girl to see how she would consume it.

The chef was caught off guard by the strange child. He quickly ran off to grab a napkin but by the time he had return he froze. Two more people had entered the kitchen and stood behind the children. "My, my. What do we have here?" A woman's voice spoke up. Her tone was curious and sweet. She walked over to the girl and gently stroke her head. "Is my little girl hungry?" The woman appeared to be Cecilia's mother.

By the time Cecilia had finished her food, Hero had already been done and was waiting. She was glad that he enjoyed it and gave him a smile.
Hearing the voice of her mother she turned her head to see her parents. She briefly closed her eyes when her mother stroked her head, like a kitten being pet. In response to her mother's question she opened her eyes and nodded.

Cecilia's father turned towards Hero and asked, "How is the food little one?" The tall man had a strong yet calming voice.

Earlier in the day they had walked around outside the castle looking for their daughter. They were not too alarmed since she has wandered off before and the dark forest protected them from enemies. After hearing a disturbance in the forest they were surprised to find their daughter bringing back a strange boy. The leaders in the kingdom discussed what to do with the boy for he seemed different than all the many races in the kingdom. The Celeste and Daren decided to take responsibility to figuring out what to do with the boy since it was their daughter who found him.

The queen bent over towards the little boy and softly asked, "What is your name?"

Cecilia finished her dessert and quietly, she is always quiet, watched and listened as her parents spoke to Hero.

"Hero, what a strong name." Said Daren.
The couple listened as Hero told his story. Their hearts clenched as they here that the little boy's home was no longer there. Celeste immediately embraced the child when he started to tear up. "How horrible!"

Daren placed a hand on the Hero's head. "We did not find anyone else near where Cecilia found you. But I will send out a search party immediately to find your sister."
They called in some guards and had a group sent out into the dark forest to search for a little girl.

Celeste released Hero from her embrace, "Hero we will do the best we can to find your sister. Now you two should go to bed, it is very late." Celeste had planned to guide Hero back to the room he woke up in, but her daughter pulled on her dress.

Cecilia was tightly holding onto Hero's sleeve and looked at her mother with pleading eyes. "Mommy..." She wanted to stay with Hero longer and didn't like how we was upset.

Celeste though for a moment and understood that her daughter wanted to stay with Hero longer. "Hero, my daughter Cecilia rarely becomes attached to others. It looks like she doesn't want to sleep by herself tonight. Can you stay with her?"
