Susan collapses to the floor in a mixture of horror and shock and watches as Val leaves the room.
Yup. He isn't as harmless as he claims to be....
As she hears Azazel's question Susan is kind of pleased to see that she wasn't the only one to witness this moment of insanity.
"I...I... I don't really know..."
Susan clears her throat and stands up deciding that it would be best to change the subject.
"Soooo... Gambling?"

Val closed the door behind after leaving the bar room. He breaks down outside.
The bar walls muffled the sounds of his screams and agonizing. There was a moment of silence before Val returned back into the bar. He looked like a zombie as he plopped himself down next to Azazel. Then falling over and landing his head on her shoulder.

Susan grabs another drink and heads to the safety of her room.
"Azazel, after you've dealt with....whatever is happening there... perhaps we can go cause trouble in town. And Val... I'm sorry.. for whatever I did to cause your present issue..."

"No, no. I am fine. Maybe I just need to go walk myself...You two go back to your drink gambling thing. Whatever you guys do for fun." Still in his zombie state and dragged himself out the door. Once he was a couple blocks away from the bar, he finally snapped back to himself.
"Well, maybe that will keep them off my tail for a bit." He grinned and walked off. Whistling, as he returned to the market district to do some 'shopping'.

Azazel sits at the bar, frowning into her glass. Torn between going after her brother or leaving him be. She's no stranger to needing to be left alone during a fit of anger, but if that scene proved anything, it's that Val is nothing like her. "Damned sentiment," she mutter to herself. "All Etheyl's fault." Downing the last of her chocolate milk, Azazel stomps out of the bar.

The market place was bustling with people rushing to get grocery to prepare dinner. Val shoved his way through the crowd, his eyes darting at the different stalls. It was a bit relieving to be out of the bar and away from the company of his sister and Susan for a bit. He grinned when a gleaming locket caught his attention. "That seems pricey..."
Val made his way over to the stall. The merchant was busy talking a customer. He reached out as if examining the locket. When the merchant wasn't looking Val yanked it from the stand it was attached too.

Azazel stomps around the market place, glaring at anyone that comes too close. She spots the blacksmith and decides to take a look around. Amongst the numerous weapons lining the walls she spots a lovely great axe. That would look fantastic above my mantle. She spots the price tag dangling from the handle and chokes out a laugh. She shouts back to the man behind the counter, "This thing better be forged in the flames of hell and bathed in the blood of virgins to be worth this much."
"I assure you, miss. The weapons here are nothing but the finest quality steel."
Azazel takes the axe down and stalks closer to the man. "Then I'm sure you have no problem if I test it, do you?"

Despite that Val was able to pull the necklace from the stand it was attached to rather quickly, nothing broke off of the piece. He stashed it away into his sleeve as he walked away from vendor. No one seemed to have noticed.

"Azzie, you should stop picking on humans like that. You might give the poor man a heart attack." Val said as she walked past him at the doorway. "How many axes do you need anyways."

The two siblings departed into different paths. Val continue to creep around the area but to avoid bumping into Azazel or Susan again, he slapped on a disguise. Changing into darker clothes and covering his ears and retracting his tail. Val searched the slums for anything interesting he could find, maybe thieves and bandits hiding amongst the poor.

After enjoying many more drinks Susan decides that she too could use a change of scenery. She heads towards town, spots Azazel and Val and quickly turns down an alley to avoid them. It wouldn't do to interrupt any family bonding, especially after today's incident.
As she is continues she is suddenly stopped by an adorable street urchin holding a knife.
"E....excuse me ma'am this is a mugging...Oh dear. I'm not very good at this am I?!"
The urchin begins to cry slightly the knife shaking in his little hand.
"If I don't bring back enough money my father will beat me. Please ma'am, can you help me?"
Susan smiles kindly.
"Tell me kid, do I look at all familiar to you?"
At the child's confused look she laughs and continues.
"This is a good con, but you pulled it on me last week.
Realizing he has been caught the kid pales and starts to back away.
"Hey wait kid... don't worry I'm not..."
She is too late as the kid has already called for reinforcements. About 15 bandits suddenly appear out of the woodwork. Susan smiles slowly backs away then takes off running with a shriek.
"SHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITTTTTTT!"
Despite her talent for running away she still hits a dead end.
"Heyyy, guys."
She suddenly looks confused.
"Wait! There are 15 of you? And only one of you is actively mugging people? That can't be financially supporting all of you! Let's talk about increasing your profit margins...."

At the sound of a scream, Val darted towards the direction out of curiosity. Maybe there could be some fun. Why does the scream sound so familiar. He use acrobats to leap top the the rooftop and stealth so that it would be more difficult to detect him. From his spot he watched the commotion.
15 men were surrounding a woman. At a closer inspection, Val recognized it was Susan. She had manage to catch their interest through bargaining and business. "Eh, I guess she will be fine." He hung around anyways just for fun. He adjust the kitsune mask that was covering his face.
