    Skull Crusher smiles and starts to doze off as well.


    Susan tries to scoot even further away from Val. "I can handle you when you're a fox, but it... it's different when you're in human form...wouldn't you be weirded out if I suddenly appeared in your lap?" Susan trails off blushing slightly.

    She starts to sulk at the mention of marriage and glares off into the distance.

    "If I do get married it'll be for business reasons, so maybe I'll be able to avoid a big wedding. I suppose the wedding doesn't matter as long as I don't marry that idiot." Susan grumbles irritably. "If I do get married you can certainly come.    "

    Val frown and sat up.

    "What's the point of marriage when you don't love the other person. Wonder what your future husband is like. I'd like to take a glimpse of him."

    He inched closer to her, his face directly in front of her's.

    "What type of guy are you looking for? But be someone who drinks a lot and has a brain with all the secrets of the universe."

    "My betrothed is hard to miss. He is... famous" She looks as if saying the word makes her want to vomit.

    Susan tries to scoot further away but finds to her irritation that she has run out of space. She looks away with a blush.

    "I... I've never really thought about it. I don't... I don't know what I like. Smart people? Interesting people." Suddenly she looks really perplexed. "I'm not even sure what gender I prefer... How do you figure that stuff out?"

    Val returned her personal space when he sat back down.

    "Dating. Basically do more things together and see if you both get along. Having dinner together, going places, doing things of similar interest." He shrugged. "Not that I really gotten to that level to really know."

    "And who says I'm not interested in you?" Realizing the words that just came out of her mouth Susan turns and starts mumbling. "I mean have you seen me hug anyone else? Well, besides Fluffer Nutter... I hugged you twice... oh god this is embarrassing...."

    Clearing her throat Susan endeavors to change the subject to something less awkward for her, although perhaps more awkward for Val.

    "Anyways, you seem to constantly veer between acting as if you are really experienced with romance to acting as if you have never even heard of the concept. Which is it? Was that really your first kiss? Or were you trying to make me feel guilty? Hmm?"

    Azazel slowly wakes the following morning. She shifts in place without opening her eyes. Why am I so warm? Turning to bury her head into her pillow, she finds a shoulder instead. What in the...? She cracks open an eye to find herself laying in the same place she fell asleep in, Skull Crusher's arm around her. Very odd. I did not move or end up on the floor.


    She shifts onto her stomach and rests her chin on hit chest and watches him a moment. Lifts her arms up to his head, running her hands through his hair before beginning to braid it.

    The feeling of fingers playing with his hair eventually causes Skull Crusher to awaken. He lazily opens one eye and looks down at her.

    "Look at this mess." She shakes her head, bringing attention to her long hair. "Braids keep it out of the way. Though I usually opt for a ponytail as it is less time consuming." She grins a little slyly. "Plus I have two brothers with long hair."


    She resumes her work on his hair. "And you are dodging the question."

    "You are too clever by far. I used to braid my mum's hair when I was growing up. She wasn't the most affectionate woman, but she'd let me touch her when I braided her hair. It was... nice."

    He felt his face get warmer.

    "It is late go to bed!" He stammered and threw his yukata over Susan's head.

    Val lifted the yukata off her head.

    "Oh that's nice to know all type of giant cloth works on her. Maybe I should try slapping a tiny tissue over her face next time."

    He wrapped the Yukata around Susan and lifted her up. Val carried her to an empty room and set her down onto the bed. He returned to his fox form, since she would through a fit if he didn't, and curled up on a pillow next to her head.

    When Susan suddenly grabbed him, he let out a quiet whimper before getting dragged towards her.

    So much regrets for being a fox...

    He tried to wiggle away but it didn't work. Val laid there obediently as she snored into his fur. He had the urge to turn back into a man, but this crazy woman needs her proper hours of sleep.

    Susan slowly begins to wake up, she blinks with surprise as she realizes that she's holding poor Val and practically tosses him to the other side of the bed as she scoots backwards. Running a hand through her hair she sighs tiredly.

    "Why do I always seem to fall asleep around you?"
