    Realizing that he indeed mentioned hell last night, he sighed.

    "I guess it wouldn't hurt to take you..just don't cause any trouble." He gave her a stern look. "I'll have to ferry you across the river."

    Xhiero went to grab his cloak and scythe.

    "I have to go out for a bit. If you need anything, just grab a penguin." He told the group at the bar before heading towards the garden.

    "Getting slapped is amusing?" Rennyr looks confused.

    "Well, Mondo can juggle, and talk, and fly. I don't think any of those things are particularly common among most bears. And I am the leader, so I don't need to have a special talent besides my excellent leaderships skills!"

    Val suddenly learns that a bear can roll its eyes.

    "Buuut, I am a wizard!" the pixie beams proudly.


    As if Val's earlier question has only just now sunk in Susan finally responds.

    Susan looks up from her task and spots Azazel.

    "Oh! Wait!"

    Pulling something out of her pocket she tosses it at the demon.

    Having accomplished her goal, Susan returns to work.

    Azazel catches the box and opens it, smiling when she sees chocolate and pops one in her mouth. She looks up to Susan and her grin gets a little more fierce, "Anytime."


    She continues after Xhiero and holds out the box, her eyebrow raised. "Want one?"

    Xhiero was about to decline when he saw the skulls. He reached out and picked up one. Staring at it for awhile because it was to perfect to eat. The reaper continue to walk with Azazel through the garden to his small boat. He still hasn't eaten the candy.

    "Considering how frequently this thing has set you on fire, one would assume you'd know not to touch it so casually..." Susan murmurs as she takes a swig of her drink.

    "Anyways, our conversation last night got me thinking. If this can open a portal to the feywild, can't it open a portal to other places? I can't control where said portal leads, besides the feywild, but it should drop is in a random new location in cases of extreme boredom!"

    Xhiero shook his head.

    "No, you earned those. One will do for me." He pulled out a tiny jar and dropped the chocolate into it. Xhiero waited for Azazel to get into the boat before pushing it out into the river. He hopped on and let the currents take the boat to the other side. The arms and hands that appeared on Azazel's first trip never surfaced this time.

    Upon landing on the opposite shore. Xhiero got off and walked to the gate. The guards greeted him and recognized Azazel from before. The white guard waved to her gleefully while the darker one seem to look elsewhere.

    "Access to Llantre Town" Xhiero told the guards. A gear on the gate starts to turn and creak before stopping at a strange symbol. The gates swung open as Xhiero entered.

    Past the gates was a large town, filled with festival lights and banners. The sky was frozen at the hour just as the the sun sheds its last rays of orange before disappearing into the horizon. There were multiple shops and vendors selling merchandise and a lot of food.

    "Well, if we do not like the location, we can always go back and try again. It should take us to a different place each time..."

    Azazel nods to the guard in white and watches as the gates open, her jaw dropping at the revealed town. "This is hell?" She wanders inside the gate, taking in all the sights, and mutters under her breath. "Should have taken that hellevator after all."


    She turns back to Xhiero, eyebrow raised. "You are actually letting me go alone? Color me surprised. Any place of note you would recommend I visit?"

    "Really? You are going to let me do the honors?" Val inched closer to Susan and started at the remote. He lifted his hand and slowly moved it towards the button like a curious cat. Suddenly Val hit the button and waited to see what would happen.

    "No, I am not letting you go alone...I meant, go where you please but I am still keeping an eye on you." Xhiero shrugged at her second question. "It is similar to a human..except with dead people and lots of skulls..."

    He pointed to a few architecture decorated in skull designs that were not obvious at first glance.

    "Lots of food for hungry ghosts. The armory..." He stopped remembering something. "Oh yeah, try to control yourself with the merchandise. We have a different currency here so human money won't work."

    A magic missile erupts from the remote breaking several bottles and knocking a hole into the wall.

    "Shiiiiiit. Well, at least you didn't hit the fireball button... or make it backfire on you."

    Susan pulls out a piece of paper and pens a quick note. 'Val did this. Sorry.' and pins it to the bar.

    Picking up the remote Susan sighs and points out two buttons.

    "Val, hit this one, and then immediately hit this one... okay?"

    The remote makes a strange whirring noise and creates a beam of light. Suddenly a portal appears gently shimmering in the dim light of the bar.

    "You did it! And you aren't on fire!"

    Azazel sighs, "You do not need to babysit me. Surely you have more important things to do." She begins to head down the main street, admiring all the architecture as she goes.


    She stops at booth covered in finely crafted daggers with intricately carved hilts and runs a hand over one of the blades. She looks up at Xhiero. "What kind of currency do you use here?"

    "There was a time..I couldn't tell money from bottle caps." Val sighed in disappointment. His head jerked up at the light.

    "If I caught on fire, you could say I am pretty hot."

    He slowly inched towards the portal wondering if it was safe to enter. Squinting at the light to see if he can make out what was on the other side.

    His eyes moved to the daggers that lined the booth. A skeleton was managing the merchandise tried to give Azazel a smile but his expression was forever the same.

    "The money here comes of the paper money that is burned in the world of the living. Those who still have loved ones to remember and love them would burn it each year."
