    Scooping Val up into her arms she carries him back to Azazel's house. Once they finally arrive inside she makes a beeline for the kitchen and deposits Val onto a stool as she look for something to feed him.

    "Is some fruit okay? Azazel seems to possess a ludicrously large amount of fruit..."

    "I feel sleepy..." He mumbled as he closed his eyes.

    Xhiero laughed at Azazel's attempt to prevent him from swimming past her.

    "You will have to try harder then that." He teased

    "I should have guessed..it is Azazel after all." He inhaled more air before pushing forward.

    The fox obediently sat up on the stool and turned back into his human form. He picked up a fruit and stared at it before putting it into his mouth. Val let out a groan and face planted into the plate of fruits.

    "That is a good question...this battle could go on for eternity." He gave up and stopped after she brushed her hand up his side. "Trying to distract me?"

    "Hey now, don't sleep yet! I rudely rushed out on someone to come locate you! The least you can do is eat your damned fruit!"

    Continuing to poke his cheek she sighs.

    "I may need to apologize to Mr. Shepard. She mutters to herself.

    He starts eating from the plate like a dog. When Val was done inhaling all the food from the plate he lifted his face from the plate and looked around the kitchen with a tired expression.

    "Who's Mr. Shepard?" He asked finally registering what she said.

    "I tend to give that vibe to everyone I meet. You would understand that too, Miss Intimidation." He swam towards her and leaned against the edge of the pool next to Azazel. "How could I not like you. We have many similar interest. You...are very beautiful too."

    "Feeling a bit better?" She asks with a smirk when he finishes eating.

    "Mr. Shepard is the captain of the Sentinels. I payed him a visit today, it is always beneficial to get along well with the local authorities. Yet, I unceremoniously fled from his kitchen when the bell started acting strangely. I may need to return and apologize."

    Susan shrugs and offers him her arm again.

    "If you are finished eating, you should go lay down."

    "I bet the poor man was getting uncomfortable by your presence. But you do what you must." He sighed and leaned over to kiss her. Val grabbed Susan's hand and slides something into her hand. He excused himself from the kitchen and goes upstairs to take a bath.

    Quickly putting the necklace around her neck she marches upstairs after Val, barging in on him.

    "First of all, what makes you so sure that my presence made him uncomfortable? Some people enjoy my company you know! Secondly, thank you for the gift... it is lovely...

    Val was about to get into the bath when Susan barged in. He stared at her without moving until she was done talking and reached over to grab a towel and covered himself.

    "Glad you like the gift." He smiled. "You do leave an impression most of the time when you talk to someone. Either annoying them or pissing them off."

    Xhiero blushed when Azazel starts eying him down.

    "We are always indecisive with what to do." He looked at her mischievously.

    "You will follow me where I lead you?" Xhiero pushed himself from the edge of the pool and swam in front of Azazel. He placed his hands against wall of the pool, pinning her against the wall. "I hope you won't regret those words."

    Susan replies, crossing her arms with a slight pout. She doesn't acknowledge his nudity one way or another.

    "You know, most of the work I do for the company is diplomatic in nature. I am capable of making a good impression from time to time!"

    Continuing to sulk, she does look mildly unsure of herself and starts muttering darkly again.

    "He seemed happy enough to invite me inside. And I thought we got along well enough. He said I made a good impression. I hope I didn't screw it up, getting on the good side of local law enforcement can be so helpful..."

    "Probably because we are both always working; we do not know.. how to... have down time... " She trails off when Xhiero pins her against the side of the pool, her lips slightly parted in surprise.

    She swallows and looks away for a moment before looking back to Xhiero, her gaze heated. "We have already been to hell and back. I doubt I will be regretting anything."

    Val blinked as Susan starts muttering to herself.

    Did I make her mad again? What do I do.

    "I was kidding. I am sure he enjoyed your company. You are a very charismatic character." He wrapped the towel around his waist and hugged Susan. Val starts petting her head.

    "You did a good job. Susan always knows what she's doing. I shouldn't be the one to say such things when I keep screwing things up."

    Xhiero noticed Azazel's discomfort. He did not expect her to react in such a way. He quietly laughed at her statement about hell.

    "Hell seems like paradise right now compared to...feelings...Why is this so hard to talk about." Xhiero laughed and looked down. His face turn red.

    "Azazel, I love you." He lifted his head up and kissed her. Xhiero wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer.
