    "I think it is best to stay by your side. If he wants to do something funny he will have to go through me first." Val said as he continue to hold Susan.

    "How about that entire mint chocolate cake." He points at a white and green cake sitting on display. Xhiero looked over at Azazel to study her expression.

    "You are making it a bit... difficult to purchase things."

    Azazel wrinkles her nose and her fox ears lower slightly. "If that is what you would like."

    She waves over the baker. "The mint chocolate one, please." The baker nods and begins to box up the cake.

    "Should I let go then?" He asked slowly moving his arm away from her.

    Xhiero slap his forehead.

    "Actually, switch that to chocolate cake. Sorry." He pinched Azazel's cheek lightly.

    "You know I was kidding. Why would I get mint when we are obviously sharing this."

    Laughing, Susan grabs his hand.

    "There, now you have physical contact, but I can still move."

    Suddenly, Susan's attention is caught by a shop down the street, and griping Val's hand she darts towards it.


    The stranger hurriedly follows behind the two.

    The baker grumbles and boxes up a chocolate cake instead.

    Azazel swats at Xhiero's hand when he pinches her cheek. "Just because I do not like mint does not mean you can not eat it. Want anything else?"

    Val grumbled when he noticed the man following them.

    "Is he any wiser then a nut to keep following us? I will be please to strangle him if he does something funny."

    "Good food is meant to be eaten with people you love. There is no point for me to eat an entire cake by myself." He reach into his pocket and and paid for the cake, leaving extra tip for the trouble.

    "I think an entire cake will do, unless you want me to fatten up."

    "No, but that would be something to see." Azazel snickers and pokes Xhiero's side. She grabs the cake in one hand and takes Xhiero's hand with the other before walking out of the bakery. "Home now? Or did you need another stop."

    "You are calm about this. I guess you really are use to it." He sigh and walked with Susan his free hand tracing the hilt of his sword.


    "Home sounds nice." He smiled and tried to grab the bag back. Xhiero kissed her lips as he tried to slips the bag's handle back into his grasp.

    Finally spotting the item she is looking for, she makes a pleased sound and scoops it up, heading to the counter and purchasing it.

    "I have what I need. Was there anything you wanted to get while we were out?"

    "How are you feeling? Still tipsy?" Xhiero leaned over and gently nipped the tip of her fox ear.

    "No, after you my lady." He kissed her hand and lead hear ahead before following after her.

    Xhiero smiled at her reaction. He slipped his hand around her waist and pulled her towards him. Pressing a hard kiss against her lips for a long period before moving away.
