    Sloan's laughter causes Susan to shoot him a withering glare, rendered less effective by the color still staining her cheeks.


    "We can head back now if you like." She says more briskly than usual as she opens a dimensional door.

    "Thanks you." Sloan smiled and stepped through the portal.

    "I am going to get some shut eye," He heads straight to the rooftop and laid down.

    Val nodded to Azazel and stood up from the table. He placed his payment onto the table and lead the way back to Susan's house.

    Azazel drops some gold onto the table and stretches as she stands from the table. She follows Val as he leads her towards Susan's lab.

    Val swings the door open to the house.

    "I am home!" He yelled out and walked in. Noticing Susan was home he beamed her a smile and rushed over to embrace her.

    "We have a visitor!"

    Azazel waves to Susan as she looks around the building. "Quite obvious who lives here." She smirks at all the lab equipment.

    "Oh yes! The garden!" Val smiled and gently shoved Azazel towards the hidden paradise. Where there was a small patch of land in the process of planting and a tree.

    "When all these fruits and vegetables grow. I can bring them over."

    "I am sure Xhiero will appreciate having fresh ingredients." Azazel grins and slings her arm over Val's shoulders. "It is quite nice, brother. I am happy for you."


    Her eyes roam around, and she frowns slightly. "Though it does not seem very defensible."

    "Forgive for not choosing my home based off of battle strategy. I'll consult your expertise on the matter in the future. Suppose we'll have to retreat to your place if we find ourselves under attack. Family bonding and murder!"

    Susan says with a grin as she wraps her arms around Val for a moment before releasing him and vanishing into the house. Returning with arms laden with two bottles of alcohol and one bottle of chocolate milk.

    "Perhaps, while I'm at it, we'll have to add an area for you to... entertain guests..." She says that as if the idea had never actually occurred to her.

    Azazel scales the wall and climbs onto the roof of a neighboring building, sitting down on the edge. "There is only so much you can do when you live so close to such a large amount of people."

    "They can stay in the garden." He looked around and walked back into inside. Val picked up some scrap metal bars and a sheet of fabric. He quickly put together a makeshift hammock.

    "Really, love? There is a lot of things you can do to people. Many people."

    "No one will know I'm sleeping on the roof" " She mimics irritably before rolling her eyes and following inside after Val.

    Wrapping her arms around his waist she grins.

    "What does it look like I am doing? Sleeping until someone decided to climb up here." He sat up and ran a hand through his hair.

    "Why did you come up here. I thought you wanted to visit your brother and his girl. Well they are down there love."

    Val stared at Susan in silence for a while. He pinched her cheeks and stretched them out.

    "I was worried sick about you when you left so suddenly. I waited at the bar the entire night. When I realized everyone else was gone...I had a feeling you would be safe with them." He sigh and hugged her tightly.

    "What's wrong love? Bored?" He laughed as he watched her curl up.

    "How is the romance life treating you? I didn't think you two would stick together this long. Sometimes it feels like you are tied down because of him."

    "Anything that does not involve booze."

    "Curiosity...I doubt I will ever have a serious relationship." He let out a quiet sigh.

    "I've seen how you were when we had our little raid. You like being free to do as you please. Chaos and blood lust pleases you. Then there's Prince who does his best to keep order. He approaches things with words rather then weapon. Doesn't that bore you."
