Feeling a bit awkward around someone so genuinely... nice, Susan begins to ramble as she continues on their way.
"Actually, it has been awhile since I've been to this black market, the last one I went to was a ways away. Sloan had to get me in, he insisted that my boyfriend and I had to wear lingerie and pretend to be his servants." She smirks and rolls her eyes.
"I'm still not convinced the lingerie was actually necessary."

Susan arches an eyebrow looks Talia up and down then shrugs.
"Somehow, I'm not surprised. But, fear not, I highly doubt it will be required."
Turning a final corner she opens a door at the end of a dark alley leading them down a large flight of stairs before finding opening out into a large room.
Dozens of stalls and vendors are set up creating a makeshift network of avenues. The booths range from opulent tributes to wealth to ramshackle structures that seem as if they could tumble down at any moment, selling animals, trinkets, weapons and even delicious foods. The crowd that fills the area almost to it's breaking point is made up of people who are incredibly wealthy, as well as those who are clearly struggling in abject poverty. The bustle does not diminish in the slightest at their sudden arrival and Susan motions to the market with a dramatic flourish.
"We have arrived! Please don't get stabbed!"

"I'll do my best," Talia chuckles nervously as she struggles to take in everything before her eyes. She subconsciously gravitates towards the booths selling animals and smiles with glee at the adorable creatures.

The animals range from common to exotic and magical. A particularly old and rough one eyed cat stares at Talia with an unimpressed expression.

In a dark corner of the Black Market, Sloan sat on a pile of crate drinking from a bottle of rum with a group of men. He turned around to glance over his shoulder and spatted out his drink.

The cat looks as if it is relieved to not be named something like Senor Puffy Puss, and purrs as he is cuddled.
