"Kain! She made pancakes, except we don't have syrup." He flap a piece in front of Kain waiting for him to take it.

Susan's pace slows and she stares off into space with a slight frown.
"Val, I am not... unaware of my flaws. Typically, I either ignore or embrace them. But I know that I'm not a nice person, and that I am difficult and often... not enjoyable to be around. People like Talia or hell, even Azazel despite her protests naturally draw people to them. People want to be around them. And yeah, I can manipulate people, I can talk them into things and bend them to my will but I have to work at it, I've spent years working at it.
And that knowledge doesn't usually bother me, but hearing things like that coming from you is... unpleasant..."

Once the ship was steadily on its course a flood of men filled the bar. The stare at the plate of pancakes in confusion before the bartender nodded at them. They piled their plates and sat down to eat.
"I am sorry I didn't see it like that." The fox gently nuzzled her face.
"I still have much to learn about a relationship and I hope you bear with this pathetic demon until he does a better job at making his woman happy."
