"I wasn't expecting you two to follow me..." Val sighed and walked ahead. They made a couple turns here and there before approaching a dead end. A faint light could be seen at the end of the tunnel and the sound of numerous men chatting grew louder. Val quietly approach the opening on the side of the wall and peep in.

There was surprisingly a room, lit by torches. A bar room filled with thugs and the likes drinking and yelling. A man on a small wooden stage holding up numerous merchandise and yelling out prices. It was no doubt a black market. Val's eyes seem to be fixed on the auctions.

Susan says sarcastically still not bothering to look at him. She trips slightly and decides to focus on not falling on her ass. She isn't very athletic to begin with, and she certainly doesn't have night vision.

"Well. At least Azazel's happy... Oh! A black market! Lovely!"

Val entered the room. No one seem to notice them as they entered. He pushed his way towards the man who was now auctioning off a bottle of mysterious fluid. Val looked around the stage for anything that might interest him. Just a pile of shiny stuff and a few large pottery.

He felt a large hand land on his shoulder. "What do we have here? It is rare to see someone with ears and lovely, white hair." A bearded man towered over Val and Susan. His hand how stroking a lock of Val's hair. His eyes darted to Susan. "Oh and a woman?" He smiled even bigger. The man doesn't seem to notice Azazel, maybe she was well hidden with her hood on. "You two might be worth a handful of gold." He waved for his men to come over.

Susan glares at the bearded man, usually she doesn't get noticed in these situations at all. That was one of the perks of traveling with pretty people, how dare this guy mess with that formula?!

"Only a handful of gold? Quite frankly I'm offended! Look at how pretty he is! Surely he'd be worth at least three handfuls! And ransoming me would probably be more profitable than just selling me. You are not making sound business decisions, do you even do proper bookkeeping?"

Susan glances over at Val "And you! You said you are a grown man who can take care of yourself, are you going to take care of this? Or do you need me to fix it for you?"

He laughed nervously at Susan. "Maybe he just needs some friends and a healthier diet." The auctioning seem to have stopped as well as the loud chatter. Everyone was eying Susan and Val. They had their weapons drawn and slowly crowded around them. "I am not use to this much attention..." His ears flopped down as he inched towards Susan. Val reached behind him and pulled out his large frying pan.

The men seem to be just as bloodthirsty as Azazel now. Five of the men charged towards them. Two at Susan and three at Val. The space was too tight for everyone to come in at once.

Azazel looms over the man, casting a tall shadow over him. "That's my brother you're trying to sell."

She leans down and gets into his face. "Are you aware that we demon's have a similar black market. However the fates of those sold there are not quite as tame as what I've seen you humans come up with. I suppose living for ions gives one time to be creative."

"Unless you want to find out, I suggest you leave them be."

The thug boss seems a bit taken back, but due to the amount of men in the room on his side he was still willing to pick a fight with them. "Heh, we have a feisty one over here boys. I have a few clients who are interested in demonic blood. They are willing to pay quite a price for it. I won't let this opportunity get away." Three more men approached Azazel, with daggers.

Azazel let's out a bone-chilling laugh and draws her axe. "Oh, I'm so glad you said that. Today has been dreadfully dull."

She swings her axe in a wide arc in front of her, cleaving at the 3 men and their leader.

"Oh Azazel, I love it when you get all menacing!" Susan grins before letting out a disappointing sigh and glaring at the bearded man.

"I was so excited when I saw this blackmarket. The Evensong Corporation doesn't have a foothold for their more underhanded dealings in this town. I wanted to do business with you, but you're so rude and gross."

She pulls out her remote and grins evilly "Oh well! I guess we'll just burn it down and start over from scratch."

Three rays of flame emit from her device targeting the three goons nearest to her.

Scorching Ray! Go!

The men who attempted to attack Azazel drop down dead. Sending half the room to scurry out the door. The other remained however holding their weapons with shaky hands.

Two men rose from their seats and marched towards Azazel. They seem tougher then the first batch. Only one of them managed to go in for an attack in the crowded space. He raised his sword and attempted to slice at Azazel.

+3 attack bonus
