In the middle of her lecture on the importance of not leaving a paper trail, Susan hears a strange sound from a nearby rooftop, she doesn't see anything though.
Must've been a cat...
"Now, what do we do if a customer complains?"
"CRUSH THEIR SKULL!"
A sigh. "Your enthusiasm is appreciated, but no Mr. Skull Crusher..."
It is at this point that one of the bandits in the back of the back of the group shoves another and a fight breaks out.
"Gentlemen, this is not how we deal with internal conflict!"
Susan barely dodges a dagger and sighs again.
"Very well then, corrective action must be taken."
She pulls out her remote and prepares to attack as well.

A tiny redheaded woman sprints through the market streets. She chances a look over her shoulder at the group of men chasing her. "Get back here you lying wench!" The woman throws her head back and laughs before picking up the pace. Spotting a nearby alley she makes a hard turn and ducks inside, barreling straight into the back of Skull Crusher. She catches her footing and looks around the group gathered. "Oh, sorry about the intrusion. Don't mind me."
Pounding footsteps draw closer from the market proper. "Where'd she go?!"
The woman grins wildly at the bewildered group in the alley. "Well shit. That's my que. Its been a pleasure." She scrambles up Skull Crusher and leaps off his shoulders to the roof of a nearby building before taking off at a sprint across the rooftops.

As the group of men were distracted by a woman climbing over their boss and leaping up onto the roof. Val ran towards Susan and grabbed her by the hand. "Run." He said loud enough for her to hear.
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a hallow egg shell that had been filled with flour and chili pepper. Shoving cloth over Susan's mouth and throwing the egg onto the ground to provide an escape for them.

Susan glares darkly at this 'mysterious stranger', first the crazy redhead now this.
"You aren't very good at this, are you?"
I should just leave this idiot....but he did just try to save me...
With an irritated sigh Susan grabs the stranger around his waist and activates her jet-pack pausing to shout at the thugs.
"LISTEN UP YOU IDIOTS! ANYONE WHO IS STILL ALIVE TOMORROW CAN CONSIDER THEMSELVES HIRED!"
She escapes to the roof with the stranger in tow landing in front of the tiny redhead. After dropping the mystery man she crosses her arms and raises an eyebrow at Vasani.

Val stood dust off his sleeves after being dropped off. He didn't say a word, afraid that Susan might recognize his voice. As she diverted her attention to the other woman with red hair, he tried to sneak away.

Val was caught off guard when Susan hurled fire at him. "Shit, does she do this to everyone she meet?" He took a hit from one of rays, setting one of his sleeves on fire. Val was able to putting it out and slashed his short sword at Susan.

Susan winces slightly as the attack hits giving the stranger enough time to vanish. She stomps her foot in a fit of childish frustration before turning back to Vasani.

Val managed to escape from Susan and hide in an alley a couple blocks away. He looked at his singed clothes and burn on his shoulder. "I am going to nuzzle the hell out of her later." Maybe the nearby pharmacy might have some ointment for the burn.
The pharmacy was a bit slow at this hour. Everyone was busy eating lunch, even a handful of the workers. Val attempted to sneak into the store while he was still stealth ed. Two of the workers were busy gossiping behind the counter. He swiped medicine from the shelf and made a run for it.
