Val sat up and walked over towards her.

"Maybe you just find me very comfortable to be around."

He sat down next to her and wagged his tail.

Azazel examines her handy work. Half of Skull Crusher's hair is woven into a messy, unbrushed braid and the other half is loose behind him, Azazel unwilling to move his head to get to it while he slept. She laughs. "Yep. Beautiful."

Susan rolls her eyes and pats the the fluffy creature on the head.

"Yes, I suppose I do, despite your constant efforts to cause me discomfort..."

She looks around for something to talk about and remembers a previous conversation with Azazel.

"Hey, what does your tattoo look like anyways?"

Skull Cusher strikes a pose and winks. "Jealous?"
Finally climbing out of bed Skull Crusher offers Azazel his hand.
"And what diversions shall we pursue today fair maiden?"

"Well tattoos themselves are always interesting, especially since I'm not allowed to have one. Plus, I can't even picture you with a tattoo, and you were born with it! It is unusual, and therefore fascinating."

Susan clears her throat and looks away as Val offers to show her the tattoo.

"No! ... no that isn't necessary. I.. don't want to inconvenience you... You can just tell me what it looks like!"

With a laugh Skull Crusher heads out the door. "I'm no chef, I cook to survive. I may feel a little bashful having you watch me."

"A fox? I suppose that would make sense." Susan looks mildly dissatisfied with this answer but quickly loses interest.

"I'm not sure... I don't even remember falling asleep. What happened Val? The last thing I remember is talking to you..."

Trying to remember the exact circumstances of her nap, Susan is unable to explain how she fell asleep. But she does remember something else.

"Oh! I remember! I wanted to ask you something! Tell me about your real first kiss!"

"Why do you want to know?" He raised an eyebrow when she didn't seem to scoot away from him when he turned back. "It wasn't really a romantic kiss. You know that I assassinate people as a job sometimes. Others hired me as a spy, sometimes that means having to seduce for information. Of course a handsome man such as I would be a good candidate."

Val scooted towards the window and opened it to let some air in.

The two eventually locate the kitchen and Skull Crusher gathers some ingredients. He walks up to Azazel with a bowl and some eggs. "Since you're the Chicken, you can help with the eggs." He demonstrates how to crack an egg then looks at her expectantly.

"Well, I was curious. The only experience I've had in that department was with a completely unwilling participant who was so horrified that he passed out..."

Susan's expression seems to be simultaneously amused and annoyed.

"Wait! You've... seduced people? Does that mean you've... you know.... done it?

Azazel looks at Skull Crusher dubiously. She gingerly takes the offered egg and with a moment of hesitation she taps the shell against the bowl. With a little too much force. The shell shatters and egg goes running down either side of the bowl.

She grimaces and chances a look at Skull Crusher.

Skull Crusher chuckles slightly and grins at Azazel.
"That happens a lot. Try being a little more gentle next time....here."

He lays a paper towel on the edge of the bowl.

"This should soften the force of your blows."
The response comes in a slightly strangled voice from a clearly embarrassed Susan.
"....oh."

Shit. What do I say now?

Susan tries to look anywhere but at Val.

"Is it......fun?"

Azazel raises her eyebrow at Skull Crusher, but grabs another egg. She mutters, "Softening my blows is not something I typically have to concern myself with. I do not think I am capable of being gentle."

She furrows her brow and traps her lip between her teeth as she concentrates. She taps the egg against the bowl and the shell fractures slightly. One more tap has it split in two and she dumps the eggs in the bowl, with perhaps a couple shell fragments.

"Huh." She peers down into the bowl. "Now what?"

"You did it! You're practically a chef!" Skull Crusher smiles at her as he uses a large chunk of eggshell to fish out the ones that had fallen into the bowl. "Now we get to beat the crap out of these eggs."
He pulls out a whisk and start mixing quickly.
"You wanna try?"

"Well after that glowing review I'm suddenly glad I haven't tried it!" Susan laughs before suddenly looking thoughtful. "However, having sex for business purposes had never occurred to me...I wonder if someone would want that from me..."

She trails off before shaking her head and returning to her normal self.

"Breakfast? Oh, I could go for a Bloody Mary, or a Mimosa... Also I want to see if Xhiero is still mad at me... Shall we go?" She grins happily at him.

"No alcohol until you eat a proper meal!" Val scolded her as he scooted towards the edge of the bed, slightly relieve the talk was over.

"What did you do to our kind host? He did help us escape a swarm of angels to a safe haven. I mean even Jasper can't get here to eat the rest of Skull Crusher."

Val grinned at Susan and scooped her off her feet before throwing her over his shoulder and walking downstairs.

"You like finger food, how about some french toast slices that you can dip into syrup?"

Skull Crusher gives her a questioning look but shrugs and continues to mix the eggs. As he finishes he locates a pan and pours the eggs in. Setting them on the stove he sets it to a low temperature and mixes them once every two minutes.

"This part takes some patience. You can cook them on high really fast, but then they get all brown and dry. This way they are fluffy and delicious!"

Skull Crusher grins proudly. "My mum taught me how to make these!"

"I didn't mean to offend him! For once! I asked him about why his eyes were glowing red, then he was very rude! ... I may have called him a giant dick afterwards... I left an apology note, and some chocolates. Was that enough? Maybe I should offer to have intercourse with him! Would that make him feel better?"

Susan blushes and lets out a surprised yelp as she is tossed over Val's shoulder.

"Val why are you carrying me again? Also, I will try this... french toast... if it will get you to stop whining about my eating habits.

"WAIT! WHAT!?!?! No, no." He stopped walking after he registered what she said. Val put her back down. "Susan don't offer intercourse to people to make up for things or get things. There's a difference to you and me doing these things. I am like a spy so we do play tricks to get what we want. But you..are a business woman. You have to be proper. Just do what you always do to get things done your way."

Val put a hand over his face, feeling embarrassed again. Not to mention making him sound like a low life.

"Don't use intercourse unless you really, really love them. Okay?"

"You are the type of person who would end up with brown eggs if I weren't around." Skull Crusher smiles and continues gently prodding the eggs. After about ten minutes he turns off the stove and grins at Azazel.

"Now, they are done."

Susan gives Val a blank look.

"So never. I should never have sex. That hardly seems fair, lots of people get to have sex when they aren't truly in love. Although, I don't really care that much."

With a shrug Susan continues to walk towards the bar.

"I can't imagine you seducing anyone. I'd almost like to see you do that sometime..."

An annoyed expression suddenly flickers across her face as she imagines him seducing someone and she frowns.

"Actually, no. No I would not like to see that."

Feeling desperate to change the subject Susan flashes Val a fake grin.

"What were you saying about french toast? I fail to see how such a sticky food could be counted as a finger food...."

After a minute of hunting Azazel finds two plates and forks and divvies up the eggs. She spears a piece onto her fork, staring at it a moment before shrugging and popping it in her mouth.

"Delicious. And quite fluffy. Perhaps the wait was worth it." She pops another bit in her mouth. "I would still end up with brown eggs were I cooking however."
