    Val walked up to the door that was blocked by Azazel. He stared down at her with a stern look.

    Azazel refuses to move. "No. I will not hold you against your will, but nor will I let you run away because you feel unwanted. You would not be my favorite brother if you were pathetic and useless. I have no time for such things." She stares him down for a moment before wrapping her arms around his midsection and hugs him.

    She releases him and steps away from the door.

    "I hate you...go back to your smoopy poo." Val grabbed Azazel by her shoulder and opened the door. He shoved her out into the hallway and went back into his room. Dropping the bag down next to his bed.

    He fell backwards onto his bed and laid there.

    He picked up a pillow on his bed and threw it at Susan who was still in his room.

    "Now I have to deal with those two love birds." He sighed and traced his finger on a crack in the wall. Val quickly got out of bed and stomped downstairs.

    "I need a drink..."

    Susan perks up at the mention of drinking and follows him downstairs.


    She tilts her head and looks as if something is on her mind.

    "... Hey Val... are you happier without the bell? I've been thinking about it, the thing modifies your behavior, doesn't it? Isn't that like... I dunno being trapped? I mean, I like this version of you because I can talk to you, and you don't usually try to murder me. But the thought of you being forced to be something you're not is kind of... sickening..."

    "Honestly, I don't which personality is the true me. Sadly we both have a thirst for blood and violence, I just happen to be able to control it better with the bell on." His brows furrow trying to understand what was going on.

    "This is why I hate it when you ask questions." He took a big gulp from his glass. He gazed forward at the the wall in front of him.

    "Neh, Susan. Did the other Val scare you?"

    "I'm afraid asking questions is in my nature. Especially questions about things or people I find interesting..."

    Susan orders a drink of her own and thinks about Val's question. She considers lying, but, opts for the truth instead.

    "Yes, you frightened me a great deal. However, I also found it fascinating, terrifying, but still fascinating."

    She looks over at him while taking a sip of her drink.

    "Why do you ask?"

    "Even though Nii-chan stabbed you. You are still up and kicking...and that sharp tongue is still flapping. Of course, I guess that's what makes you Susan Evensong."

    He laughed and stuck his head next to her's. Val starts nuzzeling Susan's messy head again just to irritate her.

    "Ahh, you like me." His tail wagged like a happy dog. "I like you too."

    Susan smirks and takes another drink but quickly finds herself twitching with irritation as more nuzzles are forced upon her. She scowls and scoots further away from him.

    "Oh do you? Sometimes it seems very much like you don't."

    Skull Crusher rolls his eyes but leaves and returns a few minutes later with a cookie.

    "I'm a bit jealous of how much you like these things..."

    His ears lowered when Susan scooted away. He scooted closer to her, curious as to how she would react. This is fun. He tried to resist the urge to burst out laughing, but clenched his lips shut.

    A look of absolute horror crosses Susan's face as she tries to wrench her arm free. Finding herself trapped she cringes and orders... several.... drinks. She sighs and pets the sleeping demon's head.

    "Couldn't you at least shift to fox form before using me as a pillow?"
