Val tried not to laugh at her. He reached out, sliding his hand under her chin. Pinching her face between his fingers and turn her so she would look at him.
"I don't mind volunteering since you find demons so interesting. I doubt Demetri and Azazel would let you."
Val slowly leaned closer.
" You can keep me for as long as you like."
Their noses were almost touching by the time he stopped talking. Val stared directly into Susan's eyes for moment.
"STARING CONTEST!"

"All is fair in Love and Staring Contests!" She holds up her beverage and offers him a drink.
"Oh, I have an endless amount of questions, but if you'd like I'll ask just one more. Although, this one is a bit silly. Why are you so obsessed with forcing people into dresses?
