There was loud banging at the front door, not even knocking. It seem like someone was kicking against the door. The doors finally gave way and burst open.

Susan and Azazel notices that the bell is not attached around Val's neck.
Val noticed Susan inching away from him and grabbed her by the collar but was not fast enough as Azazel shoves her out of the way.
