    Mr. Sunshine's tail wag happily like a dog as it licks Susan's face.

    Val watched them with disgust.

    "Why doesn't she seem that interest me when I am in my fox form. I am way more cuter then that thing." He crossed his arms and walked away towards the side of the ship so he can look at the view.

    Faye noticed the bell on Val's wrist and creeps closer.

    "Ohhh~ is that the thing Xhiero asked if we can fix. I am afraid we're not the same druids who made it, but maybe one of the elders will know about it." He prodded at the bell as it made a dull clanking sound.

    Val jumped back at the sudden presence of the elf.

    "Yes, I need to get this fixed..." He didn't like being around druids but for some odd reason he didn't mind Faye. Could be that she was a druid from another realm.

    They both discussed about the curse and other things for the duration of the time.

    In the lowest level of the ship, Azazel hears the sound of footsteps approach her. The clicking of metal tapping against the wooden floorboards. The figure coughed before stumbling and rolling past Azazel into a pile of crates, knocking them over them.

    "What the hell?" Azazel grumbles when her sanctuary is intruded upon in the loudest way possible. She pulls out her driftorb, illuminating the area. "..Xhiero? What are you doing?"

    Eventually, Susan notices Val's absence and tracks him down with Mr. Sunshine in tow.


    "Val! Did you want to pet him?" She asks with a wide grin.

    Val glared at the plant when Susan approached him with it.

    "Why not..." The demon said as he held his hand out towards the plant.

    Mr. Sunshine stared at him and opened its mouth. Biting into Val's hand.

    "Son of a monkey! THAT HURTS!" He yelled at the plant and tried to pull his arm back out.

    "Bad! Spit it out!" Faye gasp as she grab hold of her plant and help Val remove his hand. "I am so sorry. I don't know why he would do that. I am going to have to give him a bit of a time out." She bowed in apology and rushed off the deck.

    Xhiero laid sprawled upside down, buried in a grave of boxes. He looked up at Azazel and covered his face.

    "I was going to get more food to make dinner...I still owe you cookies too."

    He closed his eyes feeling the dizziness again but did not say anything.

    Azazel watches as Xhiero just lays there. "Are you.. okay?" She slides off her box and almost reaches out to touch him before pulling her hand back. "Is there something I can do?"

    "I am fine." He rolled over and pulled himself up. Stacking the crates back into a neat pile before grabbing the box he needed.

    "Just relax, you helped me a great deal already." He coughed and began the journey back up the stairs. Doing his best not to stumble again. Once out of Azazel's sight, there was a loud thud and mumbles before the footsteps faded away up the stairs.

    "Are you alright? I can't believe that cute little guy bit you so hard!"


    She wisely chooses not to mention that this made the plant seem even more adorable.

    "Heh! It is only a flesh wound. I've been through worse." he laughed it off while crying on the inside. Val rolled up his sleeve so the blood would soak his white yukata.

    "I am going to get this cleaned up..." he began to walk away to find clean water and some towels.

    Azazel leans back against the box, her eyes closed, when she hears the thud. "God damn it."

    She runs up the stairs after Xhiero and takes the box from him. "You are impossibly stubborn. You are still hurt and should be resting. Everyone can feed themselves."

    He let out an irritated sigh before continuing up the stairs to the kitchen.

    "You can put it here." He pointed into the corner of the kitchen. "I can handle the rest from here."

    Xhiero turned away and pulled out a cutting board and a knife. He quietly peeled some potatoes. Working slower from the dizziness.

    Azazel moves over to the fireplace and builds up some logs and stuffs it full of tinder. She pulls a piece of flint from her bag and strikes with her dagger. Grabbing the fire poker she prods at the flame until it begins to crackle with life.

    But the time Xhiero was done prepping the ingredients, the water was boiling. He dumped everything in, a few chopped potatoes falling outside of the cauldron. After stirring everything together, he walked over to a crate and sat down. Covering his face and feeling his forehead. It was hot.

    He frowned and pulled his hood to cover half his face.

    Azazel was watching Xhiero closely as he seated himself on the box. She frowns and moves over to the sink and dampens a cloth. She kneels next to Xhiero and holds it out to him. "I do not know why you refuse to admit something is wrong, but I can not do nothing when it is my fault."
