"I think I might regret this...." Xhiero steps towards the pit. He uses his scroll of protection from poison and turns into a dragon. Stretching as far as he can across the pit and turning himself into a bridge.

The dwarven rune etched in to the side of the key apparently is the rune for the number one.
Xhiero awkwardly extends his body as far as his dexterity will allow him, effectively shortening the gap to the other side! There is now ten feet of dragon, and twenty feet of spiked pit you must cross.

Azazel watches Xhiero stretch across the pit, a bit of worry showing despite her best efforts to hide it. "Self sacrificing idiot."
In order to put as little strain on the dragon as possible she decides not to use him to cross and instead jumps over the pit and teleports mid-air to the other side.
