Azazel resists the Demi-lich's evil eye, but feels like complete shit. As Susan casts SHATTER, a wave of force strikes the demi-lich. A crack goes down the base of the skull, and the Lich takes 10 DAMAGE!

Susan's rod-remote goes hay-wire, and she manages to break free from the skull's gaze! However, each creature (except for Acererak) suffers 9 NECROTIC DAMAGE as a mishap, sucking their life force and transferring it to Susan!

As Azazel grabs the wakazashi, the blade leaves her hand and flies directly for the skull! However.. it misses it, barely, and flies straight back for her! The blade is cursed!
