    He copies her methods and wrapped his arms behind, keeping Azazel attached to his back. Xhiero resurfaced to gasp for air.

    "You thought you could get away that easily. I don't think so." He takes in a deep breath and sinks to the bottom of the pool, dragging her with him.

    Azazel quickly takes a deep breath before being dragged underwater. As they sink to the bottom, she nibbles on Xhiero's neck in an attempt to distract him enough to let her go.

    "I never thought about living with someone else. Anywhere that makes you happy is fine with me." Val smiled at Susan and nuzzled her head. "As long as I get to be with you everyday I am happy."

    Xhiero bit his lower lip from the neck bites. He let go of his grip on her waist and spun around. His hand sliding behind her head and pulling her closer for a kiss.

    Azazel returns his kiss with enthusiasm before pulling them both up to the surface, gasping for air. She kisses him again and leans her forehead against his, grinning. "So much for finishing the fire pit."

    Laughing, Susan squirms slightly in his arms.

    "You already are with me everyday." She replies looking up at him. "Due to the nature of my work, larger cities would be ideal for me."

    "We have all the time in the world for that." He grinned back at her. Xhiero placed his hand on the sides of her face and pulled her closer for more kisses.

    "I guess the sooner it is finished the better." He gives one last final kiss before pulling himself out of the pool. Xhiero pulled off his shirt and wring all the water out. Setting it flat on the ground to dry as he goes back to breaking the ground and added a small stone platform.

    "The city?" Val thinks for a bit before giving Susan a smile.

    "It never really stayed at a city very long. I will have to adapt if that is best for you. Hopefully I don't set the city on lock down like last time."

    Azazel climbs out of the pool and takes off her top and wrings it out. "So what should I be doing? I am afraid I am rather inexperienced with this type of work."

    Xhiero noticed Asher running out of the house towards them. He leaned over and picked up the pup and handed it to Azazel.

    "It has been awhile since you last took him for a run. His training might be lacking. You should go take a run with him." He grinned at Azazel and pats her head before turning back to work.

    "Trying to get rid of me I see." Azazel sticks her tongue out at Xhiero before taking Asher. "Hello there, my sweet puppy. Do you want to go for a run?"


    Asher yips in return and Azazel sets him down before shifting into a fox. "We will be back soon." And the pair take off into the forest.

    "I don't need a lot of nature. I can live in the city!" Val pouts as he glared at her. His tail and ears seem to say otherwise.

    "I can easily adapt." He goes upstairs to his bag and pulls out the suit he use to wear to tease her. Val stares at it for a moment and sighs. He starts to change into it and slaps on his fake glasses. Looking at his reflection in the mirror the demon brushes a hand through his hair and ties it up.

    "Planned worked. Excellent." Xhiero smiled and looked down at the construction so far.

    "Now to get this all done before she gets back." He took a deep breath and starts working again. Once everything was complete, he takes a step back and observes the fire pit area.

    Pleased with the work, Xhiero goes back into the house and changes into his swim trunk. He sinks into the cool water and floats about the pool.

    "Val, all you are doing is making me want to take your clothing back off." Susan teases leaning in the doorway.

    "I want you to be near nature. I fell in love with you on our silly treks through nature. Besides, not living in the same place I work will probably make the assassination attempts at least mildly more difficult."

    Asher comes bolting out of the woods holding something black and fuzzy in is mouth. Initially it looks like something he caught. He sets it down on the side of the pool and barks at Xhiero.


    "Motherfucking bears," the black fluff growls out.

    "So every time I am going to have to dress up to go into the city, you are going to strip me down? Should I just walk around the next city we visit naked?" He laughed and turned to Susan.

    "You do make a valid point, but I also know that you somewhat dislike nature."

    Val looked at her from the corner of his eye and smirked. He raised his hand towards his glasses and adjust them.

    "I suppose when you have two opposites, the best would be to put them in a borderline environment. A wonderful solution, my dear."

    Xhiero flips back upward upon hearing Asher return. He looked down at the fluff and a picked it up. Gently petting it in his arms.

    "Bad day to go for a run? Are you two injured anywhere?"

    "I forget how much more fragile I am like this. Bear backhanded me into a rock." Azazel tries to stretch out her leg and hisses. "Leg is broken."


    "Asher is fine I think. He took the thing down all on his own." You can hear the pride running through her voice.

    He returned her kiss and pulled away.

    "Hmm? How so? Am I not acting like a regular human? Would you go about growling and kissing every man who adjust his glasses and wears a suit?"

    Val grabbed her wrist and pulled her closer to him. His hand snaking around her waist to hold her against his body.

    "Kitty cat, you will have to learn to resist yourself."


    "What a good boy you are." Xhiero smiled and ruffled the pup's head.

    "Guess you are going to get a special dinner later."

    He turned his attention back to Azazel and inspect her leg. Finding the broken one he begin to heal it until it was good as new.

    "There. It shouldn't be a problem anymore." He flipped her onto her back in his arm and raised her leg up to kiss it. Xhiero let out a chuck and starts to smooth out her ruffled fur.

    "If you don't practice resisting then you might strip me down if we happen to dress up and go somewhere in public." He waved a finger in front of her. It gently landed in her lips and traced the bottom of her lip to her chin, coiling his finger at the base.

    "Why did I have a strange feeling you would do that. Did you still want a me to scratch you behind the ear and rub your belly?" He joked. His free hand wiggling as it inched towards her stomach.

    "Leaving so soon, love?" He smiled and gets up on his feet. Xhiero lean towards her to give her a peck on the cheek, but seizing the moment to poke her ticklish side. He walks towards the house and whistles for Asher to come.

    "Let's go fix you up some dinner." Xhiero walked to the kitchen and prepares some meat in his bowl. He placed it on the ground for Asher. Xhiero poured himself some milk and settle down at the counter with a plate of cookies.

    "Good kitty." Val smirked and pets her head.

    "If you will excuse me, Miss Evensong. I will head downstairs for some dinner." He adjusts his glasses before exiting the room. Val entered the kitchen to find Xhiero sitting at the counter.

    "Fancy meeting you here, Mr. Yumisaki. That is quite the healthy diet you have there."
