Between Val pulling the shortsword, and Xhiero pulling on Val, the two men manage to pull the cursed blade free from the wall!
The light engulfs Manphia; he is vaporized!
However, moments before Manphia's soul is sucked in to the Demi-Lich, Azazel grabs the enchanted liuyedao from him! She charges the skull, and brings down the blade.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO--"
The skull shatters in to a million pieces!
The demi-lich Acererak has been destroyed!
There is a flash of white light.. and than...
You find yourselves in the gift shop, restored to the selves you were before you entered:
Sophia is Sophia once again. Klumn and Susan are both very much alive. Your armor, your gear, your clothing is all on your bodies.
Sitting next to your group is a large dufflebag that has the words, "TOMB OF HORRORS OFFICIAL LOOT BAG" written on the side of it; it looks to be near bursting.
You also notice that the gift shop is absolutely packed with people, grumbling and complaining. You hear staff trying to calm the situation..
"Attention everyone! We are having technical difficulties! Do not worry, we will get the attraction up and running back soon, and we thank you for your patience!"
