    She makes a feeble attempt at straightening her own hair before getting impatient and giving up.

    When Val and Susan finally come back down, she looks to Xhiero. "Whenever you are ready, love. You have the scroll."

    Azazel blinks and looks around the room. I feel like I've been standing her for days. She walks in front of Xhiero and waves a hand in front of his face. When she gets no response she shrugs and heads to the kitchen for a snack.

    Xhiero sighed and rest his scythe against the wall in the kitchen.

    "Always making my life harder..." He shoots Susan a glare. His hand reached for the scroll and pulled it out.

    "Should we wait for Klumn's response before we head out?"

    "I would still have to experience you dying and then wait for you to come back," Azazel says as she returns to the room, cookies in hand. She waves one in front of Xhiero's face. "We should probably wait to hear from him if only so someone knows that we have left."

    "Fine. I am sorry for thinking of such a thing." He kissed Azazel on the forehead and takes a bite of the cookie before heading to Lexa's room.

    Xhiero quietly knocked on the door and waited for her reply before entering.

    "What are we going to do now..." Val stretched and yawned bored. He decided to follow Xhiero upstairs, pacing quietly behind the reaper.

    The child opens the door and blinks in surprise. It has been at least a week since ANYONE visited her, let alone everyone. She looks at the party with concern.

    "Sorry for leaving you alone for a week. Klumn came and asked us to go to the Tomb of Horror with him and it ended up trapping us in there longer then we expected. Do not go on field trips with Klumn, okay?" Val ruffled Lexa's hair.

    Lexa nods at Xhiero and moves aside for them to come in. She finches slightly as Val raises his hand, but calms when he just ruffles her hair.


    She looks somewhat confused... She does not recall this Klumn person.

    Xhiero sat down in an empty chair. He cleared his throat not knowing where to start.

    "All I wanted to say is that we may be going on another journey soon to the Underdark to fix my curse. Will you be alright by yourself at home?"

    Val jumped onto Lexa's bed and sits with crossed legs as he looked around.

    "What have you been doing while everyone was away? Pick up any fun hobbies?"

    Lexa sighs but nods solemnly. She was quite used to always being alone, she would be fine. 


    At Val's question she motions to a giant stack of books on the floor and table, it would seem she'd read every one.

    Oddly enough the walls all look as if they have been freshly scrubbed, every inch of them. In one small corner Azazel does see the smugged remains of some words written in a strange language.

    Lexa looks over at Azazel eyes wide, the rings under her eyes make it look as if she hasn't slept in days. Her hands are covered in ink and appear to have been bleeding in spots. Frowning she bows apologetically.
