    Without blinking, Lexa stares up at him as he rants, waiting patiently for him to release her.

    When he moves away she moves closer gazing at him with wide curious eyes.

    "What is it that you want in return? If it is within my power, I will try to grant it while I still can."

    Lexa blinks and holds up her hand revealing the mark of Oghma.

    "They are bound to me, and I to them. I am physically incapable of harming them. Although, even if I were able to do so, I would not. Is that truly what you wanted from me?"

    "That's what I thought. Even if I want you to kill your precious friends, you would muster the will power to disobey me." The Drow growled.

    "Enough of this talk. You bore me, child." Sloan said before he jerk awake in the real world. Sitting up to find his bottles cleaned he frowned even more. He noticed Lexa was in the room and quickly headed towards the bathroom. May be he could find some solitude there.

    Chasing after Sloan, Lexa grabs his hand and looks up at him, her expression a frustrated pout. Holding onto him with one hand so that he doesn't escape, she messily scrawls a note with her other hand.

    "I don't need your help or anyone else to make me happy." He pulled his hand away from her and closed the door door behind him. Sloan leaned against the door and takes a deep breath. He shook the thought from his head and slipped into the bathtub.

    "She will be gone when I am done here.."

    Lexa returns to her spot on the chair and pulls an almost comically large religious tome, paging through it with interest.

    Sloan opened the door to the bathroom when he was done bathing. His eyes quickly landed on Lexa reading a large tome.

    "Don't even think about interrupting my sleep again." He points a threatening finger at the girl as he climb back into the bed. Sloan dropped a pillow over his head and goes back to sleep.

    Lexa smiles sheepishly at him before returning her attention to the tome. She is nearly finished with it when she dozes off, book falling to the floor. Shortly after sleep takes her, she begins twitching, her breathing becoming uneven, and strange whimpering sounds escaping the back of her throat.

    Hearing the sounds, Sloan quickly jolt out of sleep. His dagger already in hand. Realizing it was only Lexa he grumbled and shook her awake.

    "You are a damn curse. Wake up!"

    Xhiero stopped and pressed his body closer to her's. He buried ask face into her shoulder.

    " I said, I love you." He smiled and bit her ear gently. His scruffy jaw brushing against her neck.

    A shiver runs down Azazel's spine and she makes a pleased sound in the back of her throat. She turns her head to whisper something in the Fey language into his ear before repeating it in Common, "I love you too."

    Azazel frowns before arching up to catch Xhiero's lips in a passionate kiss, her hands sliding up his chest to tangle in his hair. She falls back into the pillows after they part and stares up at him. "If you say so."

    He frowned at the thought of leaving, but leans down to kiss her on the forehead.

    "I'll be back in a bit, love." Xhiero said before he left the room. He returned after a while later with his hands behind his back. Carefully appproaching Azazel he sat down on the bed and smiled at her.

    Sloan feels a jolt of pain as something screams into his mind.


    Don't touch me! 


    Not of his own free will, his hands immediately drop to his sides and Lexa attempts to scramble backwards on the chair, further panicking when her back hits the back of her chair.


    Glowing eyes that swirl with rage and fear glare up at him defiantly. Breath escaping raggedly Lexa seems almost animalistic, her expression showing no sign that she recognizes Sloan at all.

    "Snap out of it!" He growled. A sea of profanity escaped his mouth as he looked around the room for something that might break her out strange behavior. Grabbing a cup of water he splashed it at her face.

    "Damn this. If you don't snap out it. I am leaving the forsaken ship."

    "Nooothing." He smiled back and continued to sit where he was with both hands behind his back.

    Lexa gasps when the cold water hits her, glow fading from her eyes and recognition slowly returning to them. Eyes widening at the realization of what she has done, she bows deeply looking close to tears.
