    After a moment, she lets out a sigh and stands up, stretching. "How long have we been sitting out here? Does Sloan even know you are waiting for him?"

    Azazel shrugs. "Maybe we got lucky and he fell overboard."

    She gives a wave and starts walking away, heading back up to the deck. She climbs back into the crow's nest, finding a sunbathing Xhiero and laughs quietly.

    "This is true." Azazel hops up to sit on the railing around the crow's nest. She wraps her legs around the posts and falls backwards to dangle from the railing.

    "Bored?" Xhiero walked over to her and kissed her on the tummy before climbing down.

    "Sadly there is not much to do on a ship." He sighed.

    Once his foot touched the floor of the deck, Xhiero stretched and looked around for something to do.

    "Clean, cooking, paperwork, punching Sloan in the face..."

    Lexa gets up and starts wandering the ship, watching the warforged crew curiously. Realizing that her party members returning to her is quite unlikely, she wonders what to do. The ship is pretty spotless, she had already finished all of her books, she has run out of things to do.


    Maybe, maybe I can accomplish this task without them. She muses. Then they wouldn't get hurt again, or failing that maybe I can get more information from the locals.


    Gathering her things she prepares to exit the ship, but hesitates. She'd only been in an actual town twice before, and never by herself.


    What's the worse that could happen?


    With that thought in mind she exits the ship and wanders into town.

    "You shouldn't be roaming around without an adult. There are bad people out there who steal children with candy. I'll be back in a minute." Xhiero quickly walked towards his room to change. He returned shortly in casual clothes with bits and pieces of his plate armor. His scythe attached to his back.

    Xhiero picked up Lexa and let her sit on his shoulder.

    "Ready?" He asked Azazel.

    Xhiero entered the town and looked around. He grabbed the attention of any one passing by and asked them for direction.

    "Excuse me? Can you point us towards the direction of the castle?"

    "Castle?" A random villager asks looking confused.

    Entering town, it is immediately clear that rather than a large kingdom, the ship has docked in a tiny village. It would seem that the navigator was unable to locate the kingdom proper.

    "Was there once a large city here with a castle. Perhaps you still have some form of ruler or government you can point us towards?"

    Xhiero nodded to Azazel as she ran off.

    "You've never heard the story?!" The villager asks incredulously before continuing. 

    "Once long ago to great kingdoms were at war, many great battles were fought. It seemed as if the war would never end, then one day it did. The second kingdom simply stopped showing up to the battles, the first kingdom, suspecting a trick sent spies to scout out the second kingdom, but they were unable to find it. Search though they might the kingdom seemed to have been wiped from the face of the earth, almost as if it was never there. However, it is said that the pure of heart (or the incredibly brave, depending on the storyteller) can find an entrance to the mysterious kingdom in these very woods. Ridiculous of course, if that was true, I would have found it by now."
