Etheyl beams at the two kids. She...definitely enjoyed showing off a little bit.
Though...to be honest, she went up there on instinct and impulse. She hadn't thought through what to do once she was up. It's fine, I'll improvise! Nothing new there, really.
Rustling through her pack, Etheyl gets out a trusty rope. "Rope. Rope is always useful," she said playfully to the boy, waving the rope at him as she spoke. Best to keep his mind off the height. Looping it around the branch and tying her best knot, she lets the other end dangle towards the forest floor by her friends.
"Think you can go piggyback and hold on to me real tight? We'll be down in no time." She looks down towards her party members. "You guys, ah...be ready just in case, would you...?"
Assuming the boy is comfortable with her suggestion, Etheyl unties the sash around her waist and wraps it around her hands before grabbing hold of the rope and sliding down.

Crumnley can't quite put his finger on it, but there is something... odd... about the boy. Besides that, his clothing seems like something that would have been in style about 50 years ago, heh, stupid kid, dressing funny.

Xhiero and Azazel slip through the tree as if it was never there. They find themselves standing in the center of a huge beautifully maintained kingdom. A few people can be seen going about their daily business, but their movements seem... robotic. Much like the little boy, their clothing is in a rather... retro style.

She looks to Crumnley only to find him glowering at the tree, unmoving. Her educated guess towards his thoughts at this moment: This is bullshit.
She watches as one by one her companions circle the tree and dissappear.
"Ah." She coughs at Crumnley. "I'll...meet...you there?"
After an uncertain few steps, Etheyl goes for it and does the three laps and runs into--hopefully through--the tree.

She sidles up to Azazel and gives her the good old elbow nudge, whispering uncertainly to her.
"Okay, this is going to sound loopy, but...that kid was pretty heavy. And...this place is really clean and too old and those people are walking around rather...specifically."
Etheyl shuffles uncomfortably before spitting it out in an even lower voice. "I think they're robots."
She sidles up to Azazel and gives her the good old elbow nudge, whispering uncertainly to her.

Etheyl is both relieved and...concerned to hear Azazel agree with her conspiracy theory.
"Maybe he has a bug," she jokes dryly as she walks beside Azazel. "Or needs an oil change. In any case I'd be happy to have Susan around if they do prove to be robots. She'd be able to heal a 'sick' king in no time, with some upgrades to boot. It would probably involve guns. Or...more guns?"
Etheyl's brow furrows as a ridiculous image of a mechanical king with tank treads, covered in artillery forms in her mind. No thanks.
