"I was sparing your eyes and head from pain but if your curiosity must know then..." He flipped the book over for Azazel to see. The page is fulled with charts and digits. Looks like more work stuff. Xhiero turned the book back towards himself.
"See, nothing you want to see."
Val put a finger over Susan's lips.
"You might want to save your breath, dear. I am going to leave you breathless." He gave her a demonic smirk and runs his lips back on top of her's.
Xhiero shifted his eyes over to the side when she lost interest. He watched her play with her dagger before moving his attention back to the book. Flipping past a few pages and grabbing a pencil to scribble something onto the page.
"Yup...thrilling stuff." He sigh.
"What about you? Don't you have jobs to keep you entertain?"
"What are you talking about? I thought I was always like this." He smiled and rolled over onto the side.
"Well she did drag our asses back here after saving us from those thugs." Val leaned over the side of the bed to grab his clothes and pulled them back on.
"I would be more miserable if something bad happened to you." He poked her cheek with the end of his pencil and goes back to scribbling. Xhiero let out a quiet chuckle once in awhile while he focused on the page.
Azazel swats at the pencil when her pokes her. Her eyes keep flickering towards Xhiero everytime her chuckled before the curiosity was too much. "Something funny?"
Azazel sits up, mirroring Xhiero's grin. "Why would you try and hide something so amusing from me, love?" She inches closer and kisses his cheek, hand creeping towards the book.
"Because..." His eyes darted away from her gaze as he was at a loss of words. Xhiero quickly shoved the book under his bottom and grinned back at Azazel.
"Why are you so interested in the treasury of Black Rose?"
"Because it is clearly something you are enjoying, judging from that huge smile of yours." She smirks and moves her hands to his hips. "And I like to see the things you enjoy."
"You are going to give up that fast?" Xhiero pulled the book back out and flipped through the pages. Removing the loose paper with the charts on them. It was actually his sketchbook.
"Oh well. I guess I will keep my secrets to myself after all."
"I like it when you are more forceful. You've grown soft lately." He sinks down into the bed and rest his head on one of the pillows, flipping through the book.
