    Sloan continued to glare at Susan with cold eyes.

    "I do not like to be touched like that....it reminds me of one of my former masters." He turned away from Susan again and resume his drinking.

    "And I cannot resist you either." His hand slipped down her body stopping under her thighs. Xhiero leaned his weight over Azazel, pushing her down against the couch cushion. His hand quick to pull the stockings from her legs.

    "I thought you two were together." Krin shrugs. "I wouldn't want to impose on your hospitality anymore anyway. I will probably head to a bar to kill time until tomorrow."




    "Perhaps I should wear this more often if that is the result." Azazel grins up at Xhiero before turning her head away to hide a yawn.

    Blinking with mild surprise, Susan sighs and hops down from her place at the bar and walks in front of Sloan.

    "I don't say this to many people, and I have no intention to say it again, so listen up." She say scowling at him, before her expression softens somewhat.

    "I did not know poking you would bring back those kinds of memories for you. I... I'm sorry." Rubbing the back of her head she looks away awkwardly.

    "I don't need you to pity me or feel sorry for my past." He drained the bottle to the last drop.

    "Thank you for your hospitality. It was a pleasure playing with you, but I don't plan on staying here overnight either." Sloan bowed to Susan before leaving out the front door.

    "You are irresistible being yourself. There's no need to wear costumes or finish quests to get me to do this." He rolled off the couch and lazily pulled his clothes. Xhiero scooped Azazel up and carried her back to their bedroom. Gently placing her on the bed before crawling in and spooning her. Xhiero drifted off to sleep.

    "It wasn't pity, I just... regretted making you unhappy, YOU DICK!" Susan shouts out the door after him.

    Before returning to the bar and pouring herself a drink and massaging her temples with an irritated groan at the oncoming headache.

    "Well, Krin, is it now clear that you aren't interrupting anything?"

    Azazel smiles at Xhiero as he falls asleep so quickly and smooths his hair out of his face before drifting off herself.



    Krin silently watches the exchange as she packs up her rifle.

    "Yes. Quite." She stands from her seat and makes for the door. "I should be leaving as well. I appreciate the drink. Have a good evening."

    With that, she disappears.

    "Alone again..." Susan muses with a scowl. She considers returning to the bedroom, but does not want to risk waking or otherwise jostling Val in his injured state.

    With a sigh she grabs several more bottles, returns to her office and begins filling out paperwork.

    The following morning, Azazel gets out of bed without waking Xhiero and heads into the kitchen, pulling out ingredients to make something for breakfast.

    "Wait are we..." She pulls out her sending stone and tries to get a hold of Sloan. "Sloan, are we meeting here or somewhere else?"

    After a while, the oven timer rings and Azazel pulls out a pan. She arranges the contents on a platter and sets them on the island before turning her attention to the dishes.

    Xhiero groggly walked out from the bedroom after smelling the cinnamon rolls.

    "Nice buns." He said as he grabbed one and sat down. Quietly nibbling on it. He struggle to keep himself awake as he ate.
