    Val was breathless after Susan was done with him. He took a moment to catch his breath.

    "I need to get vengence next time and let you feel the same." He tugged at ropes.

    "Kitty, why don't you set me free so we go cause some trouble"

    "I was tempted to just leave you here." Susan sighs dramatically. "But causing trouble does sound like fun.... Very well, I suppose you can go free."


    Grinning broadly she unties him and tosses him his clothes.

    "Unless you want me to giggle at everyone to death, I should remain sober." Azazel shrugs and gets up to pour herself a glass of chocolate milk instead.

    "I will drink to celebrate our victory afterwards." She clinks her glass against Sloan's before sipping her milk.

    "Wise choice. Otherwise you will have an angry fox demon waiting for you to get home." Val sat up and rubbed his wrist before pulling on his clothes. He leaned towards Susan and pecked her on the cheek.

    "I guess I will have to hang around after the battle to see your cute, drunk state." he smiled and downs his glass.

    She looks around the kitchen for something to do, the anticipation for the upcoming fight making her more restless than usual.

    Sloan laughed as she muttered into her drink. He gave her a pat on the back before letting out a laugh.

    "See. You are acting like a shy girl right now."

    "Oh you bet I will punish you if you left me tied up at home and return hurt." Val said with a hint of a growl in his voice.

    "I am coming along readily to protect you, not helping him. I will stay by your side and nothing else." He crossed his arms and frowned.

    Susan looks mildly taken aback by Val's growl. With a slight frown she grabs his hand and gently pulls him towards the bar.


    "Well, regardless of your motivations, everyone is meeting here. What should we do while we wait?"

    Azazel barks out a laugh. "I do not think I have ever been called shy."

    She finishes off her chocolate milk and washes her glass. Reaching into the fridge, she pulls out some fruit and slices it up. She places the bowl on the counter between her and Sloan before grabbing a piece, motioning to Sloan to help himself.

    "Since you are pushing me to the bar, I take it you want to drink while the party shows up." Val sat down at the bar and fill up two glasses. He pushed one towards Susan and quietly sips his own.

    Sloan raised an eyebrow at Azazel, but grabs a piece of fruit anyways. He nodded a thanks before popping it into his mouth.

    "We should be heading out soon. After you finish your meal. Need me to go grab anyone? Your lover boy?"

    Azazel nods. "As far as I know he is in the girl's treehouse." She grabs her bowl of fruit and leads Sloan back to the treehouse before climbing the ladder.

    Upon seeing Xhiero asleep on the cot, her brows furrow and she moves over to wake him. "Xhiero? Why are you sleeping in here?"

    Xhiero jerked awake but settled down when he realized it was Azazel.

    "I-it felt nice being outdoor." He muttered. "Is it time to go?"

    Sloan folded his arms and frowned at Xhiero.

    "We don't need extra luggage for this mission. If you are sick, it would be best if you stayed home, your majesty."

    "I am well." Xhiero growled at Sloan.

    Upon placing her hand on Xhiero's cheek, his temperature is burning. He swats her hand away quickly and gets up.

    "Let's get going...Lexa said she wanted to join. I'll go find her." Xhiero said before climbing down from the tree house. He looked around to find Lexa.

    Val pouts.

    "Fine, fine." He rolled his eyes and continued to drink. Val reached over towards Susan and ran his hand through her hair, trying to calm down the mess.

    Val shakes a finger in front of Susan and smiled.

    "I did straighten your hair during the Tomb of Horrors." A spark lit in his eyes as he paws at her hair.

    "I will do it again!"

    "I can take care of myself too. I'll stay out of the way and heal anyone that needs it." Xhiero tugged his wrist away from Azazel's grasp.

    He smiled when Lexa appeared.

    "We have the whole party, let's go meet up at Susan's."

    "I don't want to barge in on another couple while they are in the midst of heated passion." Sloan shrugged and entered the home. He seated himself down at the bar and poured himself a drink.

    Xhiero followed behind and made his way to an empty seat furthest from everyone.

    "What is the plan?"

    "We get my ship back as quietly as we can. From there we will have to split up. One group stays on board and help destroy enemy ships. The second group, block all entrances and exits to the Black Market and blow it up."
