    Susan quirks an eyebrow and looks at Xhiero with a renewed interest, momentarily pausing her tinkering.

    "A reaper AND a bartender? This is quite a combination, how ever do you find the time to clean random bars and heal strangers? You must be quite a busy man."

    Susan turns back to the leg and continues to work.

    "I may very well take you up on that offer. I'm always looking for new and interesting places to drink."

    "I usually don't clean random bars. I just don't it when things are unkept around me." He walked behind the bar counter and poured Susan a glass of vodka. Xhiero walked up to her work space and placed it in a safe area next to her.

    "Although Black Rose may be a bit hard to find. It is in a different dimension that can only be excess through portals. We have several locations. It has a bar, rooms, and hot spring. Maybe Craze wouldn't mind a friend to tinker around in her lab. I usually warn guests to stay away from her lab in the basement."

    Susan wordless nods her thanks as she focuses only to suddenly jerk to attention at the mention of portals.

    "Portals and alternate dimensions, eh? That is quite interesting. I think I may need to meet that sister of yours, she sounds like quite an entertaining person. I can only imagine the fun the two of you must have."

    Azazel shrugs and starts tapping her nails on the tabletop. She stands up suddenly and starts pacing around the room. After a couple laps she comes to a stop next to Susan and sighs. "Is it done yet?"

    "You'll have to show me some of your bar-tending tricks some day!" Susan shouts after him with a grin.

    Interesting.

    Susan continues to tinker, the pile of metal and gears is now beginning to look like an actual leg. While some detail work remains, the project is nearing completion. A content smile graces her face.

    God this is fun. Why do I even bother interacting with people? Technology is so much more interesting...

    Azazel's question drags Susan kicking and screaming out of her happy place. She shoots Azazel an irritated glare.

    "Oh certainly it is. As long as you don't mind it breaking as soon as I strap the damn thing on. Why don't you two go play quietly like good little children until I'm done?"

    Azazel sits stone still, staring off into the distance for a good solid 20 minutes, contemplating Skull Crusher's riddle. Slowly, slowly her chin comes to rest on the tabletop and she stares at Skull Crusher. "What happens if I lose?"

    Azazel stands from her chair and moves in front of Skull Crusher. "If cookies aren't currency then why are kisses?" Regardless she leans down and presses her lips to his. She pulls back, her gaze a bit heated.

    Looking a little dazed as Azazel pulls away Skull Crusher finally manages to respond.

    "Well, I have yet to find a cookie I enjoyed as much as that... the answer to the riddle is 'the shadow'. Now about the game-"

    He is cut off by an annoyed Susan.

    "If the two of you are quite finished being disgusting. The leg is finished. Azazel, would you be so kind as to help me carry the damned heavy thing?"

    Susan sighs and walks back over to Skull Crusher and motions for Azazel to come over.

    "Okay, so just shove the leg on. Very scientific I know. Just make sure the foot is facing the right direction, because it isn't coming off again unless we chop it off."

    "A compliment? From Azazel? Will the wonders never cease?"

    Susan grins as she bends over to examine the leg making a few adjustments.

    'So, how does it feel Mr. Skull Crusher?"

    "It hurts like a bitch." Skull Crusher replies through gritted teeth.

    "Ah yes! That is the robo-leg forming connections with the remaining parts of your actual leg. The pain should stop shortly..."

    A few minutes pass and Skull Crusher begins to relax as the intense pain fades away.

    "Lovely, now why don't you try standing up?"

    Skull Crusher nods mutely and tries to stand. He stumbles at first but manages to keep his balance. Soon he is walking, albeit slowly, around the room.


    "Wow, this is pretty impressive. Look Azazel, I'm a whole man again!" Skull Crusher grins and looks back at Susan "Thank you!"

    "No need to thank me. The labor costs will come out of your next paycheck."

    Azazel circles Skull Crusher and looks at the leg in curiosity. "I've never seen your work in action. Is it stronger than a normal leg?" She crouches down and peers at the connection between leg and metal. "I want an arm if it is stronger."

    "Yes, it can be stronger. Plus you can always add features. For example, if Mr. Skull Crusher so chooses, he can kick his foot and make a knife pop out of his shoe!"

    Azazel's quieter comment suddenly hits home.

    "Azazel. If you intentionally chop your arm off to create more work for me, I will NOT build you a new one."

    Finishing the floor at record speed, Xhiero sits down upstairs in a spare room and prepares himself some tea. He quietly sips the warm drink and resumes relaxing far away from the people making noise downstairs.
