    Sloan flipped away from her daggers before he could take any more damage. Pull the daggers from his skin he keeps two of them.

    "Just full of surprises. I like that." He tosses two daggers at her.

    He strikes her blade to the side and runs a hand through his hair.

    "I don't think today was a good day for us to fight." Sloan laugh. He close the distance between them and pops a dagger out from his sleeve. Sliding it up Vasani's shirt and cutting it open.

    Susan sighs as the two trouble causers exit the room. She waits a bit to be sure they really left before pulling out her remote and beaming a message into Aden's mind.


    "Of course I'm not going to throw you under the bus, you ass. Fear not, I shall do everything in my power to keep the big bad elf away from you and your loot. That being said, Sloan and Vasani were heading towards the Python, so I suggest you avoid that area unless you wish to run into him. I... do have something I'd like to discuss with you when you have a moment. No rush."

    She pushes off the ropes and rolls out of the ring before heading back to the stairs.

    "Understandable." Sloan rolled his eyes and sighed at the comment about captain work. He shoved his hands into his pocket and followed behind Vasani. His eyes wandered about the ship, taking in as much details and information as he could.

    "Find anything exciting on your trips? Any valuable treasures you can share about? I promise I won't steal."

    Vasani looks at Sloan a moment, still not completely trusting the man. "I'm afraid I don't know you well enough to know if your promise means anything."

    She leads him into the galley, a large room that looks more like a dining hall that a tiny galley typically found on a ship. There's a group of men gathered around one of the long tables playing some kind of card game.

    As the men see her enter the room, they all shout greetings to her, "Captain! Are you going to join us?"

    She gives her crew a wide smile and looks at Sloan out of the corner of her eye, "Interested in a game?"

    Sloan stared at the room confused. The crew seem to happy to him. His eyes shifted back to Vasani.

    "Sure. I have nothing else to do." He takes a seat at an empty spot at the table.

    "Deal us in, boys." Vasani grabs another empty seat and snatches a bottle of ale from one of the men.

    The dealer hands out the cards as the crew continues to chat and banter amicably.

    Vasani checks her cards and tosses a couple gold into the pile in the center.

    Vasani tosses more gold onto the table as more cards are dealt out.

    "Captain, why didn't we raid that other ship?" One of the crew pips up, looking curious.

    "Because, Burke, there was a pretty half-elf I was more interested than their gold. Plus, a friend was aboard that ship." Vasani answer absentmindedly as she analyzes her cards, not at all phased by a crewmember questioning her actions.

    Burke nods with a knowing grin and turns to his cards.

    Sloan quietly played the game as he listened to Vasani and her crew. He tapped his finger against the surface of the table. There was an aura discomfort about him as he sat with the crew.

    He tossed a few more coins into the pile and draw his cards.
