Val seemed speechless as he stared at Susan. He opened his mouth to say something but closed it.

With an annoyed growl Susan pulls out her remote and teleports into his path.

Not wanting to enrage Susan any further he slowly dropped the mound of fabric in his arms to the ground. There is a deep stab wound to the side of his abdomen, that appeared to still be bleeding.

Susan lets out a low whistle as she examines the injury.
"Damn. Does the guy who did this at least look worse than you?"
She asks as she gently picks up some fabric and presses it to the wound trying to slow the bleeding.
"It would probably be less painful if we got Lexa or Xhiero to fix this "

Azazel finally rolls out of bed, her hair a fluffy mess. And she groggily staggers into the kitchen and pours herself a glass of chocolate milk.

He put his hand over the cloth to hold it in place.
"Don't worry about it. I'll stitch myself up. No need to bother them."

Xhiero opened the portal back to Azazel's house. Once he had stepped through his eyes grew wide at what he saw before him. The interior of the house was trashed. Furniture flung and smashed across the room. Traces of blood along the floors and walls. A couple bodies lay limp on the ground.
"What happened..."
"Urgh." Val moaned. He gently patted the bandages wrapped across his waist.
"I'll be fine. How has work been treating you?"
