Craze glares at Gideon for laughing at them. After noticing Susan's failed attempt at throwing the rock, she sneakily pulls out a rock from her pocket and flicks it at Gideon.

Xhiero waited outside the citadel sitting on a large statue. No one seemed to notice him there. There was a little big of peace and quiet, especially without Craze and Mimi there. He pulled out the medallion and a small bottle of his belt with a small gleaming light inside. It wasn't bright but rather dull. Xhiero only collected the souls of those were extremely sinful. He uncorked the top as the light levitated out, controlled by his powers. "How do I...feed you..." He stared at the medallion as the light lingered close to it. Like waving a treat in front of a pet.

"Good day miss." Craze politely dismissed herself from the Councilor .

The soul shoots out towards the medallion and is absorbed. It heats up far more than Xhiero's ever felt before and it sudden swells with energy, sending him staggering back against the wall. After everything settles Xhiero hears a voice in his head, "Thank you my dear."

Zieffar packs his clothing and spellbooks, grabs his cane and cloak, and heads downstairs alongside his wife. "Zemi, dear," he kisses the old innkeeper's hand, "It has been an absolute pleasure, though it is time we moved on. Thank you. We will be sure to be back at the Knight's Rest next time adventure calls."
The wizard leaves pays the tab and a large tip for the previous night's feast, waves goodbye and leaves.

Once Xhiero found his footling again, he held the medallion in his hand. "Now that you can speak...tell me what it is you seek? What is it that you are connected to?" He glared at the medallion. Xhiero was not entirely bothered by the medallion, but he was growing tired of having a presence close to him, especially one that could harm the people he loved.

Craze stops when she noticed looked distracted staring at the medallion as if he was talking to it. He must have fed the thing and now its talking to him. She hid behind a nearby object and watched.
When she saw Xhiero's face starting to redden she bit her finger to stop herself from running out and pulling the damn thing off, that would probably kill her brother, probably not good.

The necklace responds in a sulky voice, "They were trying to take me from you. I did protect you from that nasty little man though! Anyway, you were the first one that heard my call. I was trapped in that dark little room for so long. The other man's mind was too strong to hear me. I was so pleased when you came along!" Xhiero feels the necklace hum, once again pleased.

He wasn't quite sure if the medallion was evil or good. Perhaps the best way to get answers was to build some trust. "If you promise not to hurt my companions, I will treat you as friend. You will have my trust if you make that promise."

"I promise. Just don't take me back to that other woman with the singing. Her mind is much too sharp. Too much power. In regards to my other half, it is a large stone. It has been so long since I've been near it that I can not remember what it does. But it is locked away. People thought he held too much power and tried to hide it, but made me in case he was needed to be found."

Xhiero could sense the slyness in the medallion's voice. He knew he was straying towards a dangerous path by feeding it, but there was probably no other way of finding out information about the location of the room. "Alright, I'll feed you a little bit more later. My boss keeps a record on the souls I collect, so I can't give you a lot." He frowned.
"I thought my sister might be interested in the rock. She likes those kind of things. Maybe it will distract her from yanking you off my neck." Xhiero started walking towards the entrance of the citadel. "They sure are taking awhile to come out."

Someone throws a net over Xhiero's head and three men grab him and attempt to pull him away. Three others charge at the rest of the group to block your advancement.
