Susan hears a door open down the hallway and the sound of indistinct chatter, followed by the door shutting again. The sound of boots clack against the marble and a man walks past Susan and out the Citadel door. The receptionist comes up and says, "I can take you to the Councillor now, Ms. Evensong." As the two begin to move down the hall she begins chattering at Susan, "I can't believe you know Fernando. I bet he's just amazing. He came here once to perform, but I had to work."

Leo skitters around the corner and down the direction he thinks is towards the archives, but in front of him he spots a man in Sentinel armor with a bored expression on his face walking towards him. He hasn't seemed to have noticed Leo. Yet.

Seeing Leo's antics, the guard stands in front of the staircases and stays put.

Leopold, a little irritated, wanders outside the Citadel. Though he originally came out to get a bit of fresh air, he decides to start wandering the side of the structure to see if he can spot any windows on the second floor that look open.

The windows on the second floor are somewhat sparse. None of them seem to be open.

The woman finally stops chattering in Susan's ear and ushers her into the familiar room of Councillor Blackthorn's office. "Susan Evensong, my lady." She smiles brightly at Susan and leaves the room.

From behind her desk Aiza greets Susan, "How good to see you again, Ms. Evensong. Though I did not expect for it to be so soon. What can I do for you?"

Leopold, taking advantage of his NATURAL EXPLORER trait from his class, the gnome makes his best guess at which window is closest to where he remembers the archives being.

He grabs hold of a the many vines around the building, and makes his way up to the second floor.

Leo scurries up the side of the building will no problem but sadly, not quite with no noise. However, he comes up next to a closed window. He tries to push it open, but it is locked.

It's a tracker, linked to a more powerful artifact. It was used by the guardian of this artifact to be able to keep an eye on it without having to be there physically. He's a powerful mage that dabbles in all manner of magicks, though prefers necromancy. It is not surprising to me that he'd be after the necklace, but it seems rather... brash to send unwieldy goons after it. That may explain his visit...." She trails off in thought.
