"What kind of odd thing would we interrupt?" Val shrugged as they walked down the street now bustling with elves. "If you think those two are together I doubt it. Azazel said she hates ships did she not?"
Val plucked a flower from a vine dangling over his head as he passed and handed it to Susan.
"You don't look like the type for these lovely dovey things but..may be deep deep down inside you probably want to have the girlfriend treatment."

"Figures. You like anything that is sweet." He said without looking up from the papers he was signing.
"Don't worry, it is not mint in disguise. If you like to drink more of that at the bar it is called matcha green tea. Or just green tea."
Dorian came back with the second cup of tea and placed it next to Xhiero. He placed a plate in front of Azazel with a monstrous cookie on it.
"Dorian...that is overkill." Xhiero glanced at the plate.
"It is my job to make our guest feel comfortable and happy when they visit." the old man replied before leaving the two of them alone again.

Susan accepts the flower and eyes it somewhat warily..
"You know, this may be the first time I've received a flower from somebody I care about."
She continues to examine the flower looking a little embarrassed.
"I'll... treasure it."
She grins as they continue walking.
"Is there any sort of "boyfriend treatment" you secretly wish you were receiving? Speak now and I may consider it."

Azazel thanks Dorian and breaks off a piece of the cookie, happily munching on it. "I like him." She slides the plate closer to Xhiero. "Want a piece?"

"From what I learned I thought you avoid dresses at all cost. I didn't mean to offend you." His ears lowered as he began to whimper. Val's eyes darted to the side trying to think of something else to talk about. He pulled two small bells from his belt and dangled it in front of Susan.

"He works for me. He is who the people that want to hire me go through. Keeps track of my jobs for me, finances, and handles any other things I do not want to deal with." Azazel pulls out a dagger, starting to get fidgety, and flips it. "I primarily work to keep myself busy. Not to say that the gold is not a nice bonus."

Azazel opens the box and takes out the dagger to examine it. "A fine dagger, but I do love your cookies." She runs a finger over the blade, cutting her finger, to test the sharpness. Sticking her wounded finger in her mouth, she flips the dagger in the air experimentally. "Very well. You have a deal."
