Eventually Xhiero manages to calm the emperor down. Their voices grew fainter and the words harder to hear. He opened the door to leave the room, finding Azazel in front of him.
"How did you get in here?" He asked, looking around the corridor to see if any one else was there. "How long were you here..."
"Ohh? Hello there! What a lovely young lady. Is she your girlfriend, my boy?" A short old man popped out from behind Xhiero. He was half the height of the reaper and was very round. The man almost seem to bounce towards Azazel and shook her hand. "He's quite the handsome man. You should have seen him when he forgets to shave."
"Sir...please do not-" Xhiero tried to interrupt the man but he talked over the reaper.
"I must be on my way now. You two have fun." The emperor waved to them before disappearing down one of the halls.

The sword successfully strikes poor Val and Susan finally takes a break from glaring at the nameless man to notice Val.
"Val! Do you have any cigarettes? This asshole took mine!"
The man looks at Val with renewed interest as Susan calls out to him.
"Oh? You aren't just some riff raff? Are you perhaps a valiant hero on his way to rescue the fair maiden? How wonderful, it makes me feel like a real bandit! She has been a terribly disappointing hostage, she doesn't tremble in fear and she hasn't stopped talking since she regained consciousness!"
"I'm terrible? What sort of kidnapper almost kills his hostage before his demands are met?"
"Well, you did burn most of my men to a crisp, how was I supposed to know you'd nearly die of bloodloss from one hit? Of course, it became more obvious that you were a frail creature when I had to change your clothes. So delicate! I especially liked that cute birthmark on your...."
Susan's eyes narrow and she tries to lunge at the man only to find herself unable to break free from the chair.
"Temper temper." The man gently runs a hand down her cheek before smirking and punching her in the side. Susan immediately pales and collapses.
"Oh dear, it would seem she still hadn't completely healed. Never mind, now I can focus all of my attention on you." The man chuckles and grins at Val.
Damage for bandit 1d6 +1

Foreseeing the counter attack from the bandit, Val dodges the blade and only takes half the damage. The dagger grazed at his cheek.
As the man spoke Val could feel his blood grow hot with anger. He felt his lungs tighten and the air growing thick.
"You son of a bitch. How dare you treat her like that. I will make sure you pay."
Val aim both his dagger at the bandit who stabbed him.
14 total damage to the bandit

The fox demon appeared behind the second man and stabbed downward towards his neck from each side.

Her attention turns to the other man as he exits the room and she watches him warily as he takes her hand and shakes it, her face blank. Until he calls Xhiero handsome and mentions a beard. Then she smirks down at the man. "That he is. I will have to keep an eye out for when he does not shave, your majesty."
She bids the emperor farewell and looks up at Xhiero with her eyebrow raised and a wide, amused grin on her face.

Xhiero stared at Azazel with an unamused look.

"That is not for you to find out." Xhiero crossed his arms and turned away from her. Holding a sheet of paper in on hand as he walked down a hallway.
They walked for some time when the hall suddenly transformed into a large cave with a pool of lava below them. Xhiero seem to be use to this. He casually continued on across the narrow bridge. On the other side he greeted two guards and handed them the paper.
"You two are excused." Xhiero said to the guards as he proceeded onward. He reached for his scythe and ready in action before a fire elemental. Chains wrapped around its wrist and but the links were nearly broken apart.
"That sounds better then a man who sends his thugs out to abduct women passing by and then hitting them. That is no way a gentleman should behave...but I doubt you are anything close to that." Val smirked as he dodged the attack. Only take a scratch on his arm. "Come on..you must have better aim then that? I am a little disappointed."
