The man sighs with irritation and reappears next to Susan grabbing her hair and pulling her head back up.
"Now, I don't recall giving you permission to take her back. Did you see how many of my men died trying to obtain her? I can't just give her up, I owe it to my men to at least get a ransom out of her. Or..." He looks at her thoughtfully as he pulls out a small crossbow and aims it at her. "... I suppose I could just kill her. Vengeance, ya know?"
He shakes his head and aims the bow at Val.
"But, I am fairly certain that I can kill you."
