Seeing the man bleed and die triggered something in Val. He threw his head back and let out a loud laughter.
"Fool, do you think you can kill me?!? What was that about me being a frighten child?" The demon continue to stab at the body like a mad man. Blood splattering across his face.
"More...I need more blood and screams. Screaming is nice." He stood up and dragged his blade across the ground, walking towards the exit.

As if summoned by the sudden lack of danger Fluffernutter reappears. He slips wordlessly past Val and unties Susan gently lifting her limp form.
"I see you're injured, sir. Fear not, I shall carry her home while you tend to yourself."

The demon turned toward Fluffernutter and bared his fangs at the intern.

As Val turns away Fluffernutter takes a moment to really look at Susan. She has stayed surprisingly limp and she feels so cold. A rather unfortunate realization dawns on him.

Xhiero let out a sigh of relief when the attack missed.

Don't even need to roll, that thing is a goner.
The elemental was slashed in half as the flames dispersed. Xhiero pulled his cloak over his body to hide the burns before turn into Azazel. Ash covering his face. He did his best to pick up his bag and tied it back to his belt.
"Everything is good here. Let's head back." he said and quickly paced ahead.
The returned back to the palace where he was approached by a worker who handed him a large bag of coins and bowed away.
Xhiero split the coins and tossed the pouch behind him at Azazel.
"Thanks for the help..."

As Hakuzo walked away from the two, he felt a pain in his chest. Not from wounds but something else.
"What the hell is this?!?" He growled, his eyes still filled with insanity for bloodlust. The demon continued to walk away as tears stream down his face. The lone bell at his waist growing cold, taking a dull silver color.
The fox demon disappeared into the horizon and never appeared at the bar for the remainder of the period. Rumors began to surface that he was imprisoned by the druids of Valen'Dora for the massacre of many innocent lives.

Not watching where he was going, Xhiero bumped into a small girl passing by. She took a few steps back and covered her face with her large sleeves.
"Oh! Xhiero! I-it's been a long time." She starts to blush and fidget. Noticing that he made a painful face from the impact she reached out towards him. "Are you not well?"
"No. I am fine. Thank you. I should get going! It was a pleasure to see you again." the reaper circled around her and started dashing out the building.

Azazel watches the brief interact between the two. She typically doesn't like many people, but for some reason she can't pinpoint she really doesn't like this girl. Without a word or gesture of acknowledgement to the girl, Azazel follows after Xhiero, unsure what to say.

Xhiero had slowed down after he reached the streets. He kept his pace so that Azazel wouldn't keep up.
"I'll be right back. It will be quick." He smiled weakly and entered the armory again. Xhiero pop out minutes later to join Azazel.

Several hours later Susan awakens in the bar. She is relieved to see that she seems to have all of her possessions because for the life of her she can't seem to remember how she got there...
But she does have a sudden and very clear thought, almost as if it had been placed there.
