    She presses a button revealing a wall full of television screens each showing a different section of the property. With a grin she presses some more buttons and one of the screens changes to reveal the interior of the Black Rose inn.


    "Well, congratulations, I think mother liked you."

    Azazel wakes with a jerk, her pulse racing. Noticing her surroundings she calm down and rubs her face. Forsaken dreams. She spots Xhiero still asleep on the couch and quietly heads over to the bar to make some tea.

    Val covered his face with his hand and moaned.

    "It felt far from that...Why are you spying on the inn?!?" Val lightly hits her on the head with his finger. He quickly paced towards the screen and pressed his face on it.

    "Where is Aaaaaziiiiii?" He said with his face still stuck to the screen. Val stepped away from the screen and saw the grease marks.

    "Do you have a shower...I really want this off. How does your fiancee even...coats himself in this."

    Xhiero shuffled under the blanket as he woke up.

    "Huh? How did I get over here?" He yawned and sat up. His hair was a complete mess and 3 times more voluminous then usually. Xhiero didn't seem to care, must happen daily.

    Azazel finishes brewing the tea and sets a cup towards Xhiero. "I moved you. It seemed like that would be more comfortable than the bar top."

    "I enjoy being able to observe my subjects even when I am not on the premises." Susan replies with a mischievous grin. 


    "Well, I'm alive, meaning that mother didn't deign to use the poison gas this time. Very rare for her, trust me. As far as a shower goes, there is one straight through that door in the back, there is also a set of group showers downstairs in the bard's quarters if you prefer to explore the property."


    She wrinkles her nose at the mention of Fernando.


    "He wants to.... glisten... at all times."

    "I am afraid I might die if I step foot outside this room." Val wrinkled his nose and headed towards the shower.

    "I don't need grease to glisten. I'll outshine him with my smile." He huffed as he walked away.

    Val found the room began to change out of his clothes. He paused halfway through pulling his shirt off and looked around.

    "There better not be any cameras in here too!" He shouted back at Susan.

    Xhiero thanked Azazel for the tea and looked at her a bit confused.

    "You moved me? I don't believe you." Xhiero said as he took a sip of tea and put down on the table in front of him.

    Xhiero sat back down on the couch. Noticing her scowl he apologized for the comment.

    "It was a joke. You are a very strong, independent woman. That is not a bad thing." He picked up his cup and held it in his hands. "I've been too use to Mimi and having to save her from many things. This change is still new to me. I admit it is quite nice to have someone who is responsible."

    Azazel waves away his apology. "Do not worry about it. I was too.. sensitive perhaps." That thought makes her scowl even more. By the gods what is happening to me. Clearing her head, she looks up with a smirk. "I am surprised you doubted me however. We have fought."

    "WHAT?!?!" Val ran out next to Susan covered in soap. Luckily there was enough bubbles to cover his private parts.

    "My Azi is all grown up and carrying men in her arms. I am so proud of her." He covered his mouth as if weeping.

    "Yes..we did. I keep remembering tripping over that damn bottle." He frowned and continue to drink his tea. "I should probably head to work. Hand over the chest piece so I can get it repaired while I am there."

    Azazel chuckles. "Next time we will have to remember to clean the fighting area before hand."

    She downs the rest of her tea and stands up, hands moving to the buckles and straps holding her chest piece on. In a couple minutes she has the thing removed and sets it on a table near Xhiero. "Let me know how much I owe you for the repairs."

    He politely looked elsewhere as she unbuckled the armor and finished his tea. Xhiero picked up the armor from the table and began heading towards the back door.

    "Nope." He laughed before disappearing.

    Azazel growls and mutters, "Stubborn." under her breath before an idea comes to her. She makes her way up to Xhiero's room and leaves a generous stack of gold coins on his desk. Satisfied, she makes her way down to the basement and begins training.

    The sack of coins levitated and followed Azazel downstairs. Dropping at her feet.

    "As far as I know, this room is free of cameras, so you should be safe." Susan pulls out a camera and snaps a photo of Val.


    "...mostly."


    The photo immediately prints from the camera and Susan grins and pins it to the wall next to several other photos.


    Heading back to her desk Susan looks at the various screens and hits another button. Back in the sparring room a  BB hits the back of Azazel's head.
