Aden cracks his knuckles! He's ready to show off his skills. "If only Val was here to see my magic hands in action!" He pulls out his tools and spins them in the air for a little flair. "Actually, he already has. Several times too." He smirks at Susan before trying to open the locked vent.
"There should be a balcony on the north side of the building, you might be able to climb your way up. It won't be a pretty climb, but it's doable. Be warned, there is a guard near that side of the building up here on the roof, but by the time you deal with that you should have me backing you up, just in case."
Xhiero quickly got bored after making a couple molotovs and stashing them away from sight. He boredly starts piling things onto a platter as he gaze at the door. Finally snapping back to reality, the reaper looked down at the platter.
"Dude....that's gross...." Val said after peeking from behind Xhiero's shoulder.
"Darling, I don't get jealous. I have more than enough people wanting my attention." With the final twist the vent pops open and he puts the tools away. "That he does but I can sure you mine are much more magical," he waves his hands in the air to show off, "I don't mind giving you a demonstration any time and it will be free too." He winks before entering.
Etheyl grins, though that isn't likely to come across the stone. "Well I know a certain smart guy who told me to bring a rope. With any luck, once I get off the balcony I should be able to sidle my way across to your side of the building. Even if the rope doesn't reach all the way down I can use it the rest of the way to give some extra insurance."
Etheyl makes her way towards the north end of the courtyard, scouting ahead of her for any guards she'll have to dodge one way or another. Finding it clear, she makes it all the way to the balcony. "You do not want to see that room I just went through. Disgusting." Stepping over the railing, Etheyl takes a deep breath and feels for a ledge she can use to make her way around the periphery of the building.
"I am gonna go check on things...before I turn the kitchen into a mortuary." Xhiero sighed and placed the newly made deviled eggs and some booze onto a cart and wheeled it out into the party. He scanned the crowd to see if there were anything interesting. May be someone he could trick into stealing their fancy clothes.
Perception
"Don't leave me here with this...thing!" Val shivered staring at the plate and shoved it into the oven out of sight. "I guess I should stay and man the kitchen just in case..."
The teenage elf looks at you with a mixture of arousal, terror, and utter confusion. He stutters as he speaks. "Uh I-I don't know if-- Maybe this isn't a-- Uh. This is my first day. I- I- Is this some kind of reality show trick? Is there a camera s-somewhere?
He begins to slowly take off his bellboy uniform.
"W-Will I get in trouble?"
For Lexa:
A sharp dressed man approaches, grabbing one of the crab cakes on the plate. "Say little girl, aren't you a little young to be workin'? Hah, gettin' younger and younger. Say gal, what's in these crab cakes anyway?"
For Xhiero & Val:
A guard walks in to the kitchen.
"Hey, I have-- What the FUCK is that?" The guard stops, pointing at the monstrosity before Xhiero.
For Etheyl:
The wind blows you around, but you make slow progress up the wall. You are about half way to the second floor, now.
For Susan & Aden:
The grate cracks open and you slip inside. After a small tight crawl through the vents, you find a grate looking down in to the security office, where two guards appear to be doing whatever guards do.
Before Xhiero could exit the kitchen he was interrupted by a guard.
"Excuse me, it is not done yet. I was thinking of sculpting a fine Adonis to surprise the birthday..man. You know ice sculptures are overrated now. A real man has a sculpture out of meat! Won't you agree?"
"Why are you in the kitchen, sir? Did you need a break? Perhaps a drink or some food?"
