"Where would we run?" Val asked. He seems to favor getting away from the Evensong family members more then bonding with them.
Sloan stopped in his tracks but continue to smile at Azazel.
"Love, I thought you would have figured that from the auction. Slave is a rater ugly term. How about we all them valuables." He leaned against the counter next to Azazel, their shoulder's touching.
"Don't worry your head over these things, dear. Let me do the business work. You just sit back and relax."

Azazel looks livid at Sloan's last statement. She pushes off the counter and takes a deep breath before turning back to him.
"I do not pretend to be good or moral in any regard, but.. this." Azazel looks away and frowns. "Surely there are easier ways for you make money than trading lives."

Sloan folded his arms over his chest, still calm.
"This being said from a woman who takes lives for money...well I can't have a say in that since I do take lives. They had a choice to live or die."
A dagger springs from his sleeve and held it under Azazel's chin, however the blunt side of it only caressing her the side of her throat. Sloan lifted her gaze towards him with the dagger.
"Azazel. Love. Let's not bicker over such small problems. Why would you care for some slaves, when you did not even care for a kingdom that someone you...use to like protected."

Azazel ignores the dagger at her throat and sneers, rage filled eyes boring into Sloan's. "Death is a blessing compared to the endless torment of being bound to someone else's whims. Waiting to see what tortures the new day will bring and just praying that today will be the day you finally meet your end. No one should suffer through that."
She spins on her heel and marches out of the kitchen and back to the captain's cabin. Shaking with fury and something else she does not want to look to closely at, Azazel starts to change back into her armor.

Azazel looks at Sloan, temper still visibly simmering, but she doesn't have her axe in her hand. That is certainly something.
"I do not want to. You could have done literally anything else to make your gold and I would stand right beside you." She looks back to her armor, tugging on a buckle with shaking hands. "This is the one thing I can not take part in."

Azazel moves his hand away from her chin, but does not let it go. "I wish it was some heroic notion on my part. 'Free all the slaves!' But it is not. It is far more about the whole notion.. taking me back to a place I do not want to think of. Ever again."

Xhiero turned around and grabbed a couple bottles off the shelf. He lined them up in front of Susan. Sliding two empty glasses at her and Val.
"May be if you mixed them all together it will be what you are looking for."
Val cupped the glass in his hand and slide a bottle toward himself and uncorks it. He pours a little into the glass and takes a sip.
Sloan seems conflicted at her answer. His eyebrows furrow even more.
"Very. Well. I will let them at the next dock we sail by..." He steps away from Azazel.
"Stay here while I notify my men." Sloan stepped out of the cabin and closed the door behind him. There is a strange click after the knob turns that usually wasn't heard before.

Susan excitedly examines the bottles, but suddenly freezes. She looks down at the drinks and then up at Xhiero, going back and forth several times. She almost seems to be screaming internally, before she stands with a frustrated sigh.
"Xhiero. Don't take this the wrong way. This will hurt me more than it hurts you, but I feel compelled to do it." With that Susan pulls Xhiero in for a moderately awkward hug before pulling away and turning around. Examining the bottles again, Susan begins pouring the contents of various bottles into a glass.
"If you ever need anything Xhiero. Please let me know." She says while steadfastly refusing to look at him.
Susan is just about to take a drink, when another dimensional door appears.
The door slams open and Fredworthy bursts out looking mildy frantic.
"Aelstra,, My Little Songbird! WHY DID YOU LEAVE? ARE YOU ALRIGHT?"
