    Susan's eyes widen with panic and she squirms slightly before awkwardly stroking Val's hair.

    "Getting straight to business are we? I like that, love." Sloan smirked at her as his hands glides down to her legs, lifted them up. The drew pressed his body against her's.

    "No! Don't summon your father. Then you might have two grown men crying and hugging you." Val lifted his head up and glared at Susan. The crying had immediately stopped.

    "I guess my acting is too good. I blame Aden..." His eyes checked to make sure Fredworthy had not returned yet.

    "What do we do with your father? He's not going to kidnap you right in front of my eyes and send some interns to kill me right? Should I handcuff you to me?"

    After their... vigorous activities.. Azazel remains where she is, frazzled and spent, and looks as if she was waiting for something to happen. When nothing does, she grins and gives Sloan a final kiss before rolling out from under him to find some clothes.

    Sloan returned the kiss and grabbed his clothes, quickly pulling them on. He tied his rapier back at his waist and returned the hidden daggers to were they belong. Sloan ran a hand through his hair and walked towards the door.

    "Make yourself comfortable. I have some business to attend to." He winked at her and closed the door to the cabin.

    "Have fun." Azazel looks around the cabin for something to do, coming up empty for the most part.


    She decides to head down to the kitchen, the only place on the ship she is familiar with, and grabs a cup of water. She leans against the counter and notices that the kitchen was indeed a mess again. With a shrug she finishes her water and sets about cleaning it again.

    In the corner of the kitchen, you hear the faint sound of shuffling. A small whimper before everything goes silent again. Despite how small the kitchen is, there seems to be a very small clearing between the counter and the wall. The dim lighting of the room making it impossible to realize the secret nook.

    You hear a little gasp that was quickly hushed. The faint light from the lone bulb in the kitchen highlighted the thin frame of a small elven child. She huddles even closer to the back of the nook. Eyes filled with fear.

    "No...No one on this boat can be trusted.." The little girl whimpered. She slinks back as much as she could from Azazel's extended hand.

    The kitchen door swung open as two sailors walked in, looking around the kitchen. Their eyes landed on Azazel and approached her.

    "What are ya doin' thur, lassie? Did you find something?" The kitchen was far to small and cramp for them to stand behind Azazel and look.

    They flinched for a moment and looked at each other.

    "Hey bub, I think she's the captain's new lover." He nudged his head towards the door.

    The other sailor nodded back and they both retreated out of the kitchen.

    The elven child slowly crawled out from her hiding spot and peeped out just enough to make sure they men were gone. She continues to stay in the small space, staring at Azazel quietly. Her face covered in a mixture of dirt, bruises, and scratches.

    The small hand reached out for Azazel's, revealing a shackle on her wrist. Her hand retreated for a second, trembling for a moment before place her finger tips in the palm of Azazel's hand.

    "No, kidnapping isn't really his style. He tends to just assume I want what he wants and ignores all protests to the contrary."  She chuckles slightly but looks thoughtful.


    "It is a bit odd that he came all the way out here... I can't help but wonder what he is up to."
    Susan looks up at Val apologetically, biting her lip before continuing.


    "Are you truly concerned about that? Would handcuffing me make you feel better?"

    "I do not know. But I will send them away again if they do." Azazel pauses a moment and looks at the girl. "I may look or sound scary when I do that, but I truly mean you no harm."


    She picks up the girl and sets her on the counter. Picking up a rag, she dampens it and begins to clean her up as best as she can. "What is your name? How did you come to be here?"

    "May be your papa just misses his little Song Bird." Val teased. He loosened his hold a little but continues to wrap himself around her. "He is your father and you didn't celebrate your birthday."

    "I am just worried about your safety...and I don't want to be separated from you again."

    "L-Lariel."She answered in a whisper, still afraid someone may hear her. Her eyes constantly staring at the door of the kitchen.

    "Th-those men, they came to my village and burned everything down." She curled up into a ball, huddling her knees close to her. "I-I heard they were looking for a magical object. I don't remember our village having such thing. Instead they begin to kill anyone who resisted them. Those who surrendered were taken onto this ship."

    "I see." Azazel frowns. She grabs a hunk of bread and hands it to Lariel before filling up a cup of water and setting it next to her.

    "My name is Azazel." She offers the girl a small smile and leans against the counter, placing herself between the door and the elf. She crosses her arms over her chest and tries to figure out what to do about the mess she has gotten herself into.

    The little girl quietly ate her small piece of bread. Gulping down the water to help her swallow.

    "Miss Azazel...there's more people below here. More of...us. Can you save them?"

    Loud footsteps were heard from outside the kitchen door. They seem to be heading towards the kitchen. Lariel's eyes widen as she drop what was left of her food and crawled back into the hiding place.

    "I --" Azazel cuts herself off at the sound of footsteps, her head jerking to the door. Looking back she is pleased to find Lariel back in her hiding spot, deciding it is probably the safest place for her.

    She cleans up the rag and food and resumes leaning against the counter.

    The door swung open, as a familiar face entered.

    "Ahh, love. What are you doing in the kitchen? Are you hungry?" Sloan walked up to Azazel and wrapped his arms around her waist. He pressed her against the kitchen counter and kissed her.

    "I know you get bored easily, darling. Anything you would like to do? The kitchen doesn't seem like a place that would keep you sane." He smirked and starts walking her towards the exit.

    "Why don't we get some fresh air outside."

    "I... do not enjoy being separated from you either." Susan's scowl deepens.
    "Being harassed constantly is just as exhausting for me, I can assure you."


    The sound of footsteps can be heard upstairs as well as some accordion music.


    "Damn, he is getting bored, he'll be down soon." Grinning, she wraps her arms around him.


    "Perhaps, if you never let go of me, we can prevent another kidnapping...."
