"So inquisitive." Susan laughs slightly. "Typically, this isn't something I enjoy... admitting... however, I have a bit of a soft spot for robots, especially ones that remind me of my favorite bartender."
She grins at him before looking away with a sigh.
"There is someone I miss a great deal. This is a long trip, I may not see him again for a long time. Hell, considering who we are going to fight, I may never see him again." She frowns slightly.
"Why must you think so negatively. If they you wish to see him again you must believe in all your powers to finish your goal and come back to him. He would be heartbroken if you did not." The robot sits down on a nearby chair and watch her.
"I believe my master felt the same way. That may be the purpose of my existence. Perhaps you should make a robot version of him too."
"Thanks but I think I'll pass on meeting him," Aden yawns, "I get the feeling that he won't like me."
"And I've barely have been hanging onto amusement. First Susan had an exchange of stories, and I'm glad that's over don't really want to talk about my past. I messed with Susan's device and turned invisible it was the best thing to happen on this ship and I fucked with some hostages. And then I got trapped in a bath with Fredworthy," he pauses to shudder, "and now I'm bored out of my mind."
"I rarely make robots that resemble people I know. It isn't entirely healthy for the mind, having someone that is so closed to being the person you... care about... but not quite." Susan studies Xhiero.
"However, I am glad you exist." She smiles at him. "Both because you are interesting, and because you are right. I will do everything in my power to return safely. So that I can see that idiot again, and then yell at him for sending me on this damned trip alone."
"You should go pick up a nice lady at the next stop." Val teased.
"It is a good thing you bathed before I came. Other wise this temporary room would have been smelly." The wisp sinks further down into Aden's shirt and floats around.
"Why would he send you on a trip and not go with you? What a horrible man." The robot said. Suddenly it begins to make strange noises and collapse onto the ground.
Aden quickly pokes Susan in the belly. "I found the fat!" He proclaims proudly and waits for her response. "And about the salt water thing, I did not know that."
"You know, it is typically considered offensive to call a woman fat. If you aren't careful I'll assume you think me ugly." However, she doesn't actually seem offended in the slightest.
"It isn't like I eat much anyways."
Glancing back at the ocean she sighs slightly.
"You hadn't heard that before?" She laughs. "Must come from being surrounded by bards. Do you think it is true?"
"I don't believe it, after all tears are salty so why would more salt water help them?" Aden asks as he turns his sight onto the ocean. Noticing the incoming object he jumps back. "What the hell?"
Susan can see a flash of red as whatever it is flies over her head and a thump is heard behind the pair.
A tiny redheaded woman stands, holding a rope which she apparently just used to swing over from the other ship. Grinning broadly, she bows before you. "I am Captain Vasani Shepard and I am here to relieve you of your gold and-- "
She pauses when she looks at Susan. "Hey, don't I know you?"
