As Xhiero picks up the mace, it glows with a bright golden light, that warms to the touch! The crypt itself is filled with various treasures, but it doesn't appear to be trapped.

When the mace strikes the lich, a flash of bright radiant light shoots out! The fiend lets out a ground-shaking bellow, and it's eyes glow bright red. However, his spell is interrupted! He is completely staggered by the blow!

As the second blow hits the skeleton, magical cracks shoot up it's body, and it explodes in a pile of ash and dust, and the radiant mace shatters apart! The lich has been defeated!
However..
As soon as the creature dies, the crypt begins to shake and crack. You hear grinding, chunks of ceiling begin to fall.
The whole crypt is beginning to collapse!
