    The perfectly cylindrical and ridge-lacking key is twisted in the keyhole. It feels meant for this keyhole.

    Upon Azazel's rage twisting to the right, there is a click.

    A voice booms within the vault, seemingly from nowhere and everywhere all at once.

    "I TOLD YOU NOT TO DISTURB ME WHILE I AM COUNTING MONE-- WHAT.. WHAT?! YOU AREN'T ONE OF MY EMPLOYEES!"

    At that moment, Klumn looks down at the medallion, and calls attention to it; the lights on all of your crystals dim, and become inert.

    Just as Xhiero approached the keyhole, Azazel pulled him away before the floor rose at high speeds-- he would have been crushed to death.

    Before you now stands a massive mithril vault, hidden beneath the floor, large enough to fill half the room. On its right, you see a large circular door handle.

    The chamber slowly opens, revealing a massive treasure vault!

    Inside it is filled with gold and gems. There are three massive gems (a 10,000 gp peridot, a 50,000 gp emerald, and a 100,000 gp black opal), twelve different potions and elixers, six different spell scrolls, a scimitar, a liuyedao, a wakazashi, a yari, a ring, a rod, a bo staff, a quiver, a very shiny stone, and a beaded necklace.

    On the floor, you see Azazel and Xhiero's equipment, from the multiple times they were stripped down.

    A midst the treasure, you also see a large book.. and a gem-covered human skull, with large gems for eyes, and gem inlaid teeth..

    Xhiero walked towards his scythe and picked up his belongings. He looked around the room, especially at the skull. Trying to sense if it was evil.

    Val looked around the room and goes straight for the shiny rock.

    "Ohhhh. Is it safe to touch?" He tries to make sure there are no traps.

    "It must tell us a way to get out of here...."

    Val sneakily takes the loot except for the skull.

    Twenty minutes pass, as Azazel puts on her plate armor and Xhiero examines the tome. He doesn't find anything about exits or anything at all about the Tomb of Horrors, but does find writing about rituals to reverse Demi-Liching, a phenomena that occurs when a Lich fails to feed their phylactery with souls. It details needing mass amounts of corpses, souls, gold, and other things in order to do it. You see notes and diagrams written in the sides of various plans, unintelligible schemes, and schematics for a life-preserving medallion.

    Val picks up the stone. He feels lucky. It's a really pretty polished agate.

    Suddenly, the room shakes again.

    "YOU DARE COME IN TO MY SANCTUM! YOU DARE TAKE WHAT BELONGS TO ME!"

    Dust begins to swirl in to the air above the treasure, and forms a man-like shape.

    "YOU DARE CHALLENGE ACERERAK?"
