    Klumn lets out a nervous chuckle as he removes his glasses to wipe them clean.

    "Eheh.. of course.. it is never quite that easy, is it? I do need one last reagent in order to perform a ritual to change you back, with Viviana's help of course."

    He puts back on his glasses, and takes out a small notebook.

    "I actually need you to go down to the Underdark, the original homeland of the Drow. There is a creature down there called Kuo-toa.. are you familiar with it?"

It's a vast network of caves deep underground, hence the name of course, that is the home to many subterranean creatures that have adapted both to extreme darkness, again hence the name, and a damp interior that often mixes with both with the far realm and--"

    Klumn stops himself, blushing slightly. He coughs.

    "I..

    The Kuo-toa are actually a species of walking fish people that often form small tribes in the Underdark. Each tribe often has an arch-priest that conducts various religious rituals for it, and these priests are tasked with finding rare mosses and mushrooms. I need one of these arch-priest's reagent pouch."

    "We can only find these fungi in the Underdark?" Xhiero frowned. "I wonder if Faye has any. I doubt it."

    He sigh and prods the fire with a stick.

    "How hostile are these Kuo-tao?"

    Val patted her head and ruffled her hair.

    "Such big dreams." He smiled at her. He pulled his kneels towards his chest and rested his head on it.

    "I don't know. Demons live such long lives that we would eventually do everything we wanted to do. Now, I just want a future with you. Even if you will live for a short time..I want to be able to help you live your life to the fullest."

    "It's possible, but I had already even checked with most of my herb collectors, including both Ameilia and Tabitha. Seems like the arch-priests are the only ones that have enough knowledge to really find the mosses we need.

    As for the Kuo-tao themselves, they are.. simple-minded, to say the least. They are quite often prone to attack anything that doesn't look like them, motivated by deep religious beliefs. However, it isn't totally out of the question to try and reason with them, if that is what you are implying."

    He hands Xhiero a waxed sealed envelope. He smiles at the dragon.

    "This will open the door to it."

    "Thanks, Klumn. I hope things won't be as stressful as I feared. After the Tomb of Horrors, I doubt anything else can compare to it." He puts the envelope away in a nearby bag.

    "By the way...what did you do with the potions you took from the dungeon..."
