Xhiero looked up at the stars appearing in the night sky.
"I wonder how long it would take before you run off on an angry rampage at this new place."
He smiled imagining her cleaving and blowing things up.
"And I to you." Val smiled and kissed her. He pulled off his jacket and wrapped it around her when night fell upon them. Gently he pulled her closer to him and rest his head on top of her's

"I am beginning to doubt my luck after the tombs. Let's hope things will go smoothly."

"Someone is sleepy. Let's get you to bed." He rolled her into his arm and carried her to the tent. Setting Azazel down on one of the sleeping bags, he tucked her in and lay down next to her.

"There was not many people to try and sweet talk in the tomb. I am sure you will do fine with the fish people," Azazel mumbles as she sinks into her sleeping bag. She wiggles around until she's able to rest her head on Xhiero's chest and starts to drift off.

Azazel wakes the next morning far too hot in the sleeping bag. Like a god damned inferno in here. She climbs out and sits on top of it, looking down at Xhiero.
With a grin, she leaves a trail of kisses from his ear down his jaw until he wakes up.

Xhiero groaned and dug his face into the pillow before giving in and sitting up. He covered his mouth to hide a yawn and looked at Azazel sleepily.
"Good morning, love." he said as he scratched the back of his head, making the bed hair even worse.
"Did you sleep well? Or did things get too hot for you." He laughed.

"So demanding!" Susan teases before she leans back against his chest and tries to think of a funny story.
"As I am sure I've mentioned before, I had several music teachers throughout my childhood. Obviously, I hated each and every one of them, but I hated the teacher who specialized in wind instruments most of all. His choice of instrument absolutely suited him, he was a vain, pompus, self-important old wind bag. Nothing I ever did was correct and he spoke to me as if I was a particularly stupid animal and refused to treat me as if I was any smarter than a wad of used chewing gum. Of course, he was also a sickening brown noser whenever my parents were around, which only served to irritate me more.
Finally, I decided the man could go unpunished no longer. So one day, when he assigned me the task of cleaning all of the instruments.... I made some alterations." She grins mischievously before continuing.
"The next time he tried to play the tuba, no matter how hard he blew the damned thing wouldn't make a sound. So he stuck his head in to check.... And I press a button... And the tuba bites down with robotic teeth, not hard enough to injure, but hard enough to startle.... especially considering I added a rather realistic tongue that started licking him as it tried to eat him. He finally wrenched himself out of the tuba and ran screaming from the house, never to return. Mother was furious." Susan laughs.

"As far as the tongue goes, I built a metal structure with gears for movement, then covered it in a pink foam and soaked the whole thing in the sickest substance I could find."

"Yes, I have far more freedom now that I am no longer in that house." She wraps her arms around her knees hugging them to her chest.
"You know, at first I absolutely did not want to go adventureing, I was quite resentful that my parents forced me to do it. Now I resent the idea of being forced to return home."
